COMENIUS PROJECT BELIEVING IN HUMANITY SIXTH MEETING and CLOSURE CARTAGENA (SPAIN) 4TH- 8TH JUNE 2013

With the assistance of these members of the project, we proceeded to hold the sixth and final meeting, which covered the following points: Welcome by the students and faculty of the school with the screening of a video on the city of Cartagena, followed by a welcome speech by the coordinator of the project and the headmistress, Maria Ins Iglesias Martinez. Live music played by three teachers and two students, remixing some Spanish guitar music. Then all attendees received a gift and signed in the Mediterranean Guestbook. Tour of school facilities, guided by students at the school and teachers involved in the project where they visited the following classrooms: Classroom Technology Laboratory Science, Mural BIH, Hall of Art, Room 1 A (Bilingual) , Exhibition on Gender Violence and "Women and Cinema," Childhood Education Classroom, Classroom Music, Classroom Socio-Health Intervention Center and Library. This was followed by the work session which addressed the following topics:

1. Presentation of the activities of each center during the last quarter of the year 12/13. 2. Evaluation of all activities throughout the project: evaluation and control mechanisms of the same, updating and sharing of data through the project website 3. Final planning of the First European Solidarity Concert 1) Presentation of the activities of each center during the last quarter of the year 12/13. Each country presented their activities: ITALY: Celebration, March 21st, the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination. March 23rd: Days of Volunteering. Preparation of the proceedings to be represented on the concert.

CZECH REPUBLIC: Visit a local nursing home in Duchcov. Concert "Children to Children". Sponsorship with Nepal. Developing hearts magnets. free Hugs SWEDEN: Visits and collaboration with charitable organizations, showing concern for disadvantaged children and families. Encounters with elders who shared their experiences with students. Preparation of the book "The number of stars." Performances of various types and preparation of the action to perform at the concert. GERMANY: Heidenheim meeting analysis. My day. Celebrating the Day of Languages. Recital at a hospital in Heidenheim. Collaboration with First Aid services. Collecting funds for donation in Uganda. Campaign to raise awareness of organ donation. Solidarity with Bangladesh. Charity market. Career solidarity. Training social labor brigades formed by disruptive pupils to promote their full integration into the school. International Week Celebration. Interviews with elders affected by World War II. Visits to residences. Preparation of the performance of the Concerto. TURKEY: Celebration of a chat session with students of other member countries of the project. Children's Festival. Blood Donation Campaign. Preparation of action at present in the Concert. SPAIN: Talks on Volunteering. Holding two chat sessions with students of other member countries. Career Development. Celebrating the Day of the Rights of the Child. Solidarity Market. Exhibition of toys. Celebration of Human Rights Day. Visits and talks by members of 5 NGOs. Celebration of Working Women. Continuity of the "Major and CIA" in the nursing Virgen del Mar. 2) Evaluation of all activities throughout the project: evaluation and control mechanisms of the same, updating and sharing of data through the project website. In the session, Professor Carmen Torres Torres, responsible for the web, illustrates participants about how to complete the evaluation mechanisms of the various activities that have been conducted over the two year duration of the project. In the Library computers are enabled for those countries that have not completed the evaluation process to do so during the session (for Turkey, which has repeatedly expressed serious computer problems at its center). 3) Final planning of the First European Solidarity Concert: Each delegation delivers the appropriate music for their performances, and close the details of both the rehearsal schedule as special needs they have for each of the performances. All project members expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to participate in the First European Solidarity Concert and the illusion of their students (notable is the case of Italy, which has matched the meeting in Cartagena with a study tour of 25 students

by the Spanish Mediterranean coast so that they could all perform at the concert). Each country is given a concert program and informed about the protocol thereof, and the importance given by the Polytechnic University of Cartagena to this event, encouraging the Erasmus students participation in the Concert. It is the first time that such an event is held in the Region of Murcia.
