NEWTOWN SQUARE, PENNSYLVANIA, USA The Project Management Institute ((PMI ), the worlds leading membership association for the project management profession, announced that Naomi Caietti has successfully completed the PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class. The program offers leadership skills building, coaching and mentoring to experienced project managers. Naomi Caietti is a resident of Folsom, California, graduated from California State University, Sacramento and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a minor in business. Naomi is a credentialed Project Management (PMP) professional working in Sacramento, California for the Department of Technology Services (DTS) and has more than 19 years of proven leadership experience working with state government delivering and consulting with customers on Information Technology services such as: DTS data center information technology services, project management, messaging systems, customer relationship management, operations management and industry best practices. Her proven leadership has allowed her to lead teams and develop partnerships with customers whose daily work touches the life of almost every Californian. Naomi has volunteered her time with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for the last 5 years and has held various leadership roles at the local, regional and global level for a Component, SIG and various Member Advisory Group for PMI Global Operations Center (GOC). Naomi has published several articles and presented in webinars and at conferences on the value of project management, certification and leadership. Starting in January 2008, she will begin serving her two year term as a member of the PMI Leadership Institute Advisory Group. Her role will be a program strategist and thought leader for the current PMI Leadership Institute (LI) Program at PMI GOC. In this role, she will be collaborating with eight other global advisory members and PMI GOC staff to raise the value and delivery of the three cornerstone elements of the LI Program: PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class; PMI Learn (Web based); and PMI Leadership Institute Meetings. The PMI Leadership Institute Masters Class, similar to leadership training of Fortune 500 companies, focuses on developing a sharper strategic vision, building more collaborative project teams and engaging in continuous selfevaluation and development.
