INTRODUCTION

Concrete is a composite material commonly used in construction. It is a combination of cement and aggregates such as sand, fine and coarse aggregates. These materials are added in accordance with specific mixing rate as prescribed. It is one of the most important building materials to and most widely used in a construction project. Therefore, the techniques used to produce good concrete must be understood and considered carefully. Quality of concrete produced depends on the quality of the raw materials used, such as cement, aggregate and water, the concoction , mix way, ways and means of transport compaction. If the raw materials used are of low quality, then the resulting concrete will have low standards and will result in concrete is not strong and does not meet specifications. Therefore, concrete technology has determined that all materials to be used should be tested first and then get the approval standards set before it can be used for construction work. In the ordinary form of concrete made from Portland cement, construction aggregate (generally gravel and sand) and water. Hardened concrete as dry when mixed and poured; cement reacts with water in a chemical process known as mineral drying. Water is absorbed by the cement, which hardens, binding other components simultaneously and finally forming materials such as stone. Concrete is used more often than a man-made material on earth [1]. It is used as walkways, building structures, foundations, roads, crossings, parking structures, brick walls, and the basis for gates, fences and poles. Until 2005, around six million cubic meters of concrete is produced each year, the equivalent of one square meter per person in this world .. Concrete is the industry worth U.S. $ 35 thousand (billion) that employs two million workers in the United States alone. Approximately 55,000 miles of roads in the U.S. are made from this material, and China uses about 40% of world cement production

Discussion

First and foremost in this concept understanding the topic that our group had done the researches recently for the concept of the hard concrete . In this Preparation of concrete it must get through all the test that to ensure the concrete are well and good quality beside that workability are also take precaution because the good the workability ,the higher chances of ease to work for it. In the test there are 8 testes had to be done in the site. Which the 8 test is by compression ,bending strength, durability ,permeability, resistant to the weather, changing the shape, shrinkage and creeping if the concrete succeed by through all the test .it is ready to use the concrete at the site . In this type of preparation, there always have failure while preparation the concrete for example bleeding segregation. this causes of failure from overbalance mixing ratio Last for next step of preparation of concrete is batching method . There are two option in this which is weighing or volume . The latter method is the most common since it "eliminates errors due to variations contained in a specific volume" . Regular inspection, maintenance, and calibration of the equipment must be done in order to provide a consistent batch of aggregates between mixes. On smaller sites, a loading hopper is commonly utilized; on larger sites, the whole weighing process is typically mechanized.
