Gymnastics has grown from a gymnastics
facility to an all around, family-friendly
center. They offer Gymnastics, Karate,
Fitness, Camps, Birthday Parties, Field

Programs start with kids as young as 2-
years-old and move up through classes of
various age and skill levels. Owner John
Gosselin has continued to add programs

"Other programs want you to commit to
a 10-week session," he said. "Our

any month.
"We know summer can be very busy so
we offer a flex gymnastics schedule for July
and August," he added. You can commit to
just one class at a time. No more paying for
classes that your child can't attend."
For those families who need some
"summer help" to keep their kids
entertained during the day, the facility
offers more than 22 varieties of summer
camps. This summer Gosselin has brought
in a character development program called
Kids Empowered.
"Kids Empowered will run seven camps
for us focusing on character development,
teaching kids good lessons and good
choices," he said.
American Allstars will also have 15
varieties of sports and specialty camps. The
specialty camps include a movie making
camp, "Totally Circus" and "Kids Being Kids"
camp. The sports camps include jump rope,
gymnastics, tumbling, karate and more.
Last July American Allstars added
karate to its family of physical activities and
now has nearly 200 kids working their way
through the belt ranks.
"Karate has been a great addition and
the community support has been
tremendous," Gosselin said. "Having more
center named "The Edge," which is not
your typical fitness center. It's designed
with kids in mind, giving them the "EDGE"
they need to succeed in all sports.
"It's an unconventional workout,"
Gosselin said. "We'll use unique and
creative methods to gain flexibility, balance
and strength. The rock wall will not just be
for fun, but for physical fitness to build
core, shoulders, hamstrings and legs. It's
fun and physical fitness coming together for
a great workout."
Gosselin is particularly thankful to the
community that has supported his academy.
"I really appreciate the community's
support," he said. "I know the economy is
tough but people are still taking care of their
kids and we appreciate they are choosing us
to keep their kids active and healthy."
