Catch The Revelation

Col 1:26-27 the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

WORD by Mukisa Emma

The New Testament revelation is Christ in you. This was Pauls revelation and it is the revelation God desires the Church to get. This is the revelation of the New Testament church. Verse 27 says that this revelation was hidden from the Old Testament saints but God has willed to reveal it to us the New Testament saints which is; Christ in you the hope of glory. The coming of the Messiah was predicted in the Old Testament, but the idea that He would actually indwell us was beyond anyone's imagination. However, the New Testament is clear that Christ, by the Holy Spirit takes up permanent residence in all believers (Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 6:19, 20; Eph. 2:22). This is a wonderful truth which some fail to fully appreciate. Solomon said at the dedication of the temple, "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. How much less this temple which I have built!" We could say; how much less this physical body? 1King 8:27 This is truly amazing! This is the truth that made Paul very outstanding! Paul based his ministry on this revelation. Hear his declarations; We are more than conquerors through Him-Jesus-who loved us, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me, in Him I live move and have my being. Paul had gotten the revelation. If we could only meditate upon this truth and continually ponder on it; our lives will automatically change for the better. If you catch the revelation, how could you possibly fail with Christ in you?! Why cant you? Because your failure would mean that Christ fails first then you too! If we can only catch the revelation; that would mark the end of our fears, stress, discouragement and disappointments. He is in you and for you. How could we be helpless again? How could we be discouraged when He has said that He will never leave us nor forsake us? (Heb 13:5)

CONFESSION

Father I thank You for revealing Your Word to me today. Christ in me is the hope of glory. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! I am not alone because Christ is with me. God has made His home in me. Glory to God! He lives in me, He walks in me, and He talks in me! Hallelujah!
