WARNING! Observe safe firearm handling practices at all times. Make sure the firearm is unloaded and safety is engaged before starting installation.
2. Line up the rail backing plate to the holes on the TRX in the location where the rail segment is to be placed.
3. Using thread locking compound, install the screw closest to the end of the TRX. Do not tighten all the way.
4. Using thread locking compound install the rear screw and tighten both screws completely.
8. A slot in the Troy barrel nut must line up with the gas tube hole in receiver.

10. Place TRX BattleRail over the barrel and offset TRX rail slightly to the left of the receiver rail.
11. With rail offset, line up the grooves on the inside of the rail to align with the teeth on the barrel nut.
12. Pull the TRX BattleRail onto Troy barrel nut using firm pressure on both the receiver and TRX.
13 & 14. The TRX BattleRail should be flush against the receiver prior to aligning the TRX rail with the receiver rail.
15. Rotate rail to align the TRX with the receiver rail.
17. Install hex screws on the bottom of TRX. Apply thread locking compound on the two screws.
18. Care should be taken NOT TO OVERTIGHTEN the hex screws. Tighten 1/2 turn past hand tight. It is not necessary to close the gap completely with the hex. There should be about a 1/8 gap in the clamp.
