Mr. Rajat Dhar, Assistant Vice President Operations and Projects, AVL India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. He is responsible for engineering, project management & operations like purchasing and logistics in AVL India. He has experience of more than 10 years. His areas of expertise are design of facilities for engine testing laboratories & layouts of engine test cells. He is IPMA (International Project Management Association) Level C Certified Project Manager from PMA, Vienna. Mr. Harish Upreti, Senior Manager, Customer Service, AVL India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. He has experience of more than 16 years. He has attended Certified Trainings at AVL Graz / Kiel. His areas of expertise are PUMA Open, Engine Dynamometer and Test Equipment, Chassis Dynamometer, Indicating Equipment. Mr. S. V. Deshpande, CEO & MD, Acoustic Engineering Co. Pvt. Ltd., Pune. Since 1982, he is working in the field of noise & vibration. He is involved in design of acoustic enclosures & acoustic treatment to engine test beds. He has to his credit, the most silent enclosure with acoustic treatment designed so far, having noise reduction from 105 dBA to 35 dBA. Mr. Jackson Jose, Area Sales Manager, South Asia & Middle East, FOGTEC India, Mumbai. After completing graduate in Electronic Engineering, he has joined as system integrator in industrial automation and has worked in installation and servicing of various PLCs and drives. Also, he worked in business development of electromechanical products, such as automotive testing equipments in India and Middle East. In 2007, he has joined FOGTEC India as Area Sales Manager for South Asia & Middle East and is involved in handling various kinds of large projects in Engine test cells for automotive applications. Dr. K. C. Vora, Dy. Director & Head, Academy, ARAI, Pune. He has his Ph.D. from IIT-Bombay. He has a vast industrial & academic experience of 27 years and has been associated with Walchand Nagar Industries, Emitec Emission Controls, Mahindra & Mahindra and ARAI. He has specialized in the field of Automotive Education, Technology Development Knowledge Management, Engine R&D and Emission Controls. He was instrumental in starting ARAI Academy, which conducts Graduate, Post Graduate and Doctoral Courses in Automotive Engineering. He is the Advisor in various activities of SAEINDIA, under which he conducts series of students' activities like AWIM, BAJA & SUPRA SAEINDIA. Dr. S. S. Thipse, General Manager, Powertrain Engineering, ARAI, Pune. He did his Masters in Thermal Sciences from Bradley University, USA and Ph.D. from New Jersey Institute of Technology in the field of Alternative Fuels Combustion. Presently, he is at ARAI, working on the development of Hydrogen, CNG & LPG engines. He is an active faculty at ARAI Academy and serves as a core member in the expert committee on Alternative Fuels of DST as a nominee of Director, ARAI. He is a Governing Board member of SAEINDIA Western Section, life member of Combustion Institute, ISTD and member of ISO TC 22 & BIS TED-26. Mr. V. G. Inamdar, Dy. General Manager, Powertrain Engineering, ARAI, Pune. He is mainly responsible for engine performance testing & validation. He has more than 20 years of experience in the field of engines. He was actively involved in development of test bed automation system. Dr. Karu Ragupathy, Dy. Manager, Academy, ARAI, Pune. He has his Ph.D. in the field of HCCI from IIT Delhi. His areas of interest are Automotive Education and Engine R&D.
