The Grand Dpart for the 2014 running of the Tour de France takes place in the stunning region of Yorkshire in Northern England. It is here we will see 2 beautiful stages held over rolling roads and through historic villages. Tour de France 2014 then heads South with a sprinter's finish destined for the centre of London in front of the famous Buckingham Palace. We invite you to join us as we are there for the Team presentation, plus all 3 stages and a host of great rides and sightseeing.

2 July 2014 2014 Overnight: Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, Leeds Our tour commences in the region of Yorkshire. Known for its beautiful landscapes and historic villages, Yorkshire plays host to the 2014 'Grand Dpart' of the Tour de France. We invite you to join us directly at the hotel or alternatively, we will be providing complimentary transfers during the day from the Leeds train station and airport.

Rider activities;
From 3 to 4pm we will be arranging the bike fitting for our cycling guests. For those bringing their own bikes, our staff will be there to assist with putting your bike together should you require. Following the bike fitting, we will take a short ride in the countryside nearby our hotel. Our support vehicle will be on hand to make any adjustments that you may require. If you will have a late arrival, we will make the necessary

arrangements to ensure your bike is fitted and ready to go for the following day's ride.

Non rider activities;


We invite you to enjoy a relaxing afternoon at our hotel. Why not make use of the hotels pool, jacuzzi and spa facilities or take a walk on the nearby country lanes.

Following breakfast at the hotel, the group will transfer to Harewood House, one of the best stately homes in England. Here you will enjoy the chance to explore the beautiful grounds and the state rooms of the property. Guests are invited to enjoy lunch at leisure at the properties caf (own expense).

Combined activities;
In the evening the group will be welcomed for dinner at the hotel, a chance to get to know the rest of the group. Here you will hear from your guide team about the upcoming activities and their predictions on the 3 weeks of racing ahead. 3 July 2014 Overnight: Thorpe Park Hotel & Spa, Leeds

Rider activities;
We will take a drive to the Peaks District. From here we will enjoy an incredible ride through Britain's first national park. Our ride will focus on the Northern end of the park, around the Dark Peak and Snake Pass areas.

In the early afternoon, guests will then be transferred to Leeds where you will be joined by your local guide for a walking tour of the city. Known more so for its industrial roots, your guide will share with you the history dating back to the 7th century, the elegant Georgian squares and the many Victorian style buildings. We will also visit what is thought to be the largest covered market in Europe.

In the late afternoon, both groups will regroup in Leeds where we will enjoy the spectacle of the team presentation. In the morning we will transfer to the North York Moors region. This region is known for its diversity of landscape, from heather moors to forest and farmland to the stunning cliffs overlooking the North Sea. Our 75km loop ride will take place over stunning sections of the national park. Guests can shorten their ride as required. Following the ride we will transfer to York, a medieval walled city steeped in history. In the afternoon you will have time at leisure to explore the city.

We will take a short transfer from our hotel by support vehicle before taking to our bikes. Riding ahead of the race, the group will ride through the stunning Yorkshire Dales on the race route itself.

Non rider activities;

In the morning the group will be transferred to our race vantage point for viewing the excitement of the race first-hand.

6 July 2014 TdF Stage 2: York to Sheffield, 200km Overnight: Charing Cross Hotel, London

Non rider activities;


Following breakfast, the group will transfer to Sheffield, the finish village of the day's stage. Here guests will enjoy a 2 hour canal cruise taking in on the canals dating back nearly 200 years. You will enjoy the tranquility of this form of transport as

Our afternoon will be enjoyed in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales, here you will enjoy an afternoon at a local pub on the race route. Here we will enjoy the carnival that is the Tour de France, from the 'Caravane', distributing thousands of small gifts from wacky vehicles, to the support vehicles from the local police, race organisers and the teams, to the pro-riders themselves. Will we see a breakaway or will the peloton be as one, given the high stakes on offer at the end of the stage? During the afternoon the group will enjoy a pub lunch, watching the race coming and then its thrilling conclusion in Harrogate on the television.

Rider activities;
After a short transfer to intersect the race route we will again take to the stage route ahead of the pros. Our fully supported group ride will see us ride the final 60-80km of the stage route through to the finish in Sheffield. As is the case with all the rides, the option to shorten exists should you wish.

Combined activities;
In the afternoon, the group will be free to soak up the atmosphere of the arrival of the stage. Explore the city of Sheffield, find a pub and watch the race

on its way, then be there at the finish to watch the thrilling finish live. Following the arrival of the race and the jersey presentations we will then take the two hour train journey to central London and on to our new hotel. Guest luggage will be transferred to the new accommodation by road during the day. 7 July 2013 TdF Stage 3: Cambridge to London Overnight: Charing Cross Hotel, London Given our hotel's location in the heart of London, and approximately 1km from the stage's finish, we are well located to explore London, plus be there for what is expected to be a sprint finish on 'The Mall' in front of Buckingham Palace.

At present, ASO is yet to finalise their hospitality programs for London. On receiving this we will propose the various options available to guests.

In the evening, the group will enjoy a farewell dinner at a restaurant close to our hotel. The informal dinner will be a great chance to celebrate the week's racing, riding and touring. 8 July 2013 Our tour program will conclude after breakfast at the hotel. All guests will have the morning at leisure to explore the city, do some shopping or relax on the banks of the Thaimes. Should you wish to prebook a city tour, this will be available during the booking process. The tour will be held in the morning and early afternoon. In the afternoon we invite guests to join us to watch the finish to the Tour de France's 2014 visit to England on the streets of London. Will Mark Cavendish be able to win on home turf or will Marcel Kittel, Andre Greipel or one of the young sprinters spoilt the UK party?

About the rides: Guests are invited to ride the length and speed that suits them individually. We structure our rides with a riding guide at the front, who goes at the pace of the faster riders and a guide at the rear who goes at the pace of the slowest rider. We will then have further guides within the group based on group numbers. In addition, our support vehicles are on the ride route with the group to assist in the situation of mechanical issues, to carry spare clothing and to allow the option to shorten the ride if you wish. We will send you the dimensions of the bikes to assist you in selecting the frame size that is right for you. Alternatively we recommend visiting a Trek dealer close to you to confirm sizing.
