*CALL to WORSHIP: We will hear many words between now and the Benediction. But is that all there is to worship? Not unless the words we hear, find their way to our hearts! That is where you and I must become actively involved. Worship begins when we put what we hear, into daily practice. May God lead us to be doers of His Word, and not merely hearers only! Come, let us witness and work for God together! *HYMN #31 I Sing the Almighty Power of God *CALL TO and PRAYER of CONFESSION Father God in heaven, who inspires us by Your Word to put our faith into practice: Make our faith a genuine response to Your presence in our lives, that we may live in harmony with the teachings of the Christian faith which we have heard from the very beginning. Take control of our total being, that we may become living examples of Your Word incarnate. Now hear us in silence, as we continue to confess *ASSURANCE of PARDON and GLORIA PATRI *AFFIRMATION of FAITH- Nicene Creed (insert)

O God, You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea.

THE NICENE CREED We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen. We believe in our Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Being with the Father. Through him all things were made. For us and for our salvation he came down from heaven: by the power of the Holy Spirit he became incarnate from the virgin, Mary, and was made human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered and was buried. On the third day he rose again in accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end. We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son he is worshipped and glorified. he has spoken through the prophets. We believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic church. We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. We look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. Amen.

We gather to worship the King of glory. We welcome all who have come. Your presence will help enhance the joy of our time spent with our Lord.
