H&R Block announced today that it has selected DDB US as its agency partner for advertising and
marketing, effective immediately. DDB will help reposition the H&R Block brand nationally and
demonstrate the company’s tax expertise through marketing communications.
“DDB has a proven track record for generating strong creative that builds and maintains leadership
brands,” said Russ Smyth, president and chief executive officer of H&R Block. “Having worked with
the agency before, I know we can expect a great partnership that will help grow our business and
enhance our brand.”
DDB will employ a multi-office service platform to bring the best minds and thinking from its US offices
to the H&R Block business.
