Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions, and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will have their Picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in the newsletter.

God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son, and the Holy Spirit always agree with each other perfectly.

I John 5:7, For there are three that bear witness in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; these three are one.

Father God, Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastors Ron and Hope. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed. In Jesus' name, Amen

I believe on Jesus and the works that He did I shall do also. Greater works than these I will do because Jesus went to His Father. John 14:12 I will be filled with the Holy Ghost and will speak in other tongues as the Spirit gives me utterance. Acts 2:4 When I speak in an unknown tongue I edify myself, but when I prophesy I edify the church. I Corinthians 14:4

The Holy Spirit honors Jesus and exalts Him in all things. The Word of God and the Spirit of God are always in agreement. Sometimes people place equal importance on spiritual dreams, visions, prophecies, and words of knowledge as they do on the Word of God. This should not be so. Every spiritual act or experience should line up with the Word in the Bible. God does not disagree with Himself. Be careful to search the scriptures and ask God for understanding if a vision or experience does not seem right to you. In a vision God spoke to Peter telling him to eat animals that were not allowed to be eaten according to the Jewish law. At first this seemed like it was not in agreement with the Bible, but as Peter asked God for the meaning of this vision he saw that God was saying that He wanted the Gospel to be preached to all people, Jews and Gentiles. God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit all work together to bring greater understanding of Gods ways.
