Directions to airport Juan Santamara International Airport is located in the province of Alajuela, just off Pan American Highway 1, west of San Jos. If traveling from the central valley (San Jose, Heredia, Cartago province), most of the roads will meet at Highway 1, follow the signs to the airport. If traveling from the west (Atenas, Jaco, San Ramon), follow the signs to Highway 1 and then to the Airport. - From the east Once you reach the Airport Blvd. area, Universal Aviation is located in front of the main entrance of the Terminal. Our Operations office is located at the main terminal, on the ramp. Our Customer Service and Headquarters office is located in front of the airport building across the street.
