ARTIST SETUP AREA APPLICATION

DISPLAY SPACE: Each Artist vendor space measures 8 feet wide X 10 feet long. Please
occupy one of the spaces.
FEES: $35 per year, paid to the City of Paducah Finance Department. Renewable
annually.

You will need a driver’s license, or photo ID and $35.00

Per approval by the Paducah Artist Committee, please fill out this form if you are
applying for a license with the Artist Setup Area in History Paducah.

Conditions of My Artist Area Setup Permit:

1) I will display my license at all times.
2) I will comply with all requirements of my license, as described by the Artist
Committee
3) I will be courteous to nearby artists, businesses and neighbors.
4) I will not interfere with pedestrian traffic flow.
5) I will not sell food, or other edible items.
6. I will keep the area up to four feet around my cart clear of trash, debris, snow or ice. I
will discard any form of refuse into any city Receptacles.
7) I will understand at times the location I am assigned by the Artist Setup Area is not
available due to circumstances beyond the Artist Committee control.
8. I will yield to any new or existing city functions that will supercede my right as a
permit holder to occupy said Artist Setup Area.
9) I will abide by all local, state and federal laws at all times.
10) Operate my business in an orderly fashion at all times. I will not engage in fighting or
in violent tumultuous or threatening behavior, make unreasonable noise, use abusive or
obscene language, make an obscene gesture.
11) I will not display nude art forms or other images that could be construed as offensive
to children except in a notebook clearly marked “Adult Only” and allow only adults to
view said images.
12) Not leave my area unattended for more than 30 minutes.
13) Abide by the Artist Setup Area times.
14) I will hold both the Artist Committee and their members as well as the City of
Paducah and any elected officials harmless from any injury and/or losses.

I hereby certify that the information I provided on this application is true and complete to
the best of my knowledge and belief and I understand that any false or incomplete
statements can lead to the revocation of my permit.
I have also read the conditions of my license and I understand that failure to abide by
them and all other ordinances pertaining to vending or street entertaining may lead to the
revocation or denial of my permit.
