Qualifications / Expertise
i. MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC. ii. FCPS or equivalent qualification in the specialty. iii. 08 years post qualification experience in the relevant field i. MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC. ii. FCPS or equivalent qualification in the specialty of Medical, Gynae, Paeds, Anaesthesia, Skin and Psychiatry iii. 03 years post qualification experience in the relevant field BSc Engineering or equivalent (recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council) in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Metallurgy/Mechatronics/Industrial. i. Mechanical Engineer with sub-speciality of Machine Design, CAD/CAM, Manufacturing processes. ii. Electrical / Electronics Engineer with sub-speciality of Digital Signal Processing, Computer Architecture, Digital Logic Design, Advance Electronics. Preference will be given to Electronics Engineers. iii. Metallurgical Engineer with sub-speciality of non-destructive testing, Alloy formation, Material Science. BSc Engg / MSc Chemistry or equivalent (recognized by Pakistan Engineering Council) in Chemical Technology. However, Chemical Engineers with sub-specialty of Stoichiometry, Fluid Mechanics, Plant Design & Economics, Heat Transfer and Chemical Process Industries will be given preference. MBBS or equivalent recognized by PMDC. One year internship in a recognized Institute / Hospital.

Selected candidates of BS-17 will have to execute a Prescribed Bond/Undertaking to the effect that he/she would serve POF for a minimum period of 05 years, if required by POF, failing which he/she would refund all the amount spent on his/her training plus penalty as prescribed in the Bond/Undertaking.
