Thats no straightforward task in an unfamiliar city without anyone to help. So its a good idea to get directions you can rely on. With the BMW Portable Navigation Systems you have an innovative companion to take you directly and reliably to the citys hotspots. During development of this product, particular attention was paid to perfect integration. So there are no irritating cables when you operate retrofitted navigation devices from the BMW range of accessories with their impressive array of extras. The integrated hands-free facility for mobile end devices with Bluetooth capability is very practical when youre on the road, as are the voice control function and 3D map perspective.

TiP:

Worth a look: You dont have to go to the cinema to enjoy top films: with the BMW DVD System Tablet rear passengers can watch films on DVD while on the road. Thanks to optional infrared headphones the driver is not irritated by the noise of the film. The BMW DVD System Table is simple to mount on the headrests of front seats, making it an ideal travel companion for lengthier trips especially with children.

Approx. 15% of all routes can change every year. The update versions of the BMW Digital Road Maps include the latest traffic and tourist information for your route planning. In addition to traffic routing, useful facilities such as motorway restaurants, filling stations and hotels are also updated. This means you will always find the best route to your destination.

BMW Navigation Portable Plus and Pro. Perfect integration without view obstruction and irritating wiring. Both versions have a 4.3-inch multitouch glass screen in ultra-flat design, a hands-free capability for Bluetooth end devices, a lane assistant and much more besides. The Pro version also offers pre-installed road maps and the Lifetime Map Update.

How to get wireless internet in your BMW. The BMW Car Hotspot enables various end devices such as a tablet, laptop and games console to be connected to the internet wirelessly at the same time. The only requirement is a SIM card inserted in the BMW Car Hotspot or a mobile phone with SAP interface. The BMW Car Hotspot is attached to the central armrest like a snap-in adapter. The roof aerial ensures optimum reception, also reducing radiation inside the vehicle. Available for a wide range of BMW models.

Which city best reflects the theme of diverse possibilities? Berlin. It is in a constant process of change, re-inventing itself all the time. This is why there are always new things to discover there. And its no coincidence that Berlin has become a magnet for international artists, fashion designers and film-makers.

Diverse possibilities.
Whether youre on a business journey or a leisure trip, there are often lots of small items to stow away when you are travelling for any length of time. Sunglasses, tissues, drinks or mints the list is long. So its a good thing to have the most important travel articles in a handy place, with everything securely stowed away. Hooked. The Travel & Comfort System is a clever travel companion. The simple and secure plug-in mechanism allows quick exchange of different attachments. For example there is a universal holder to hang shopping bags on. This provides a practical and functional storage facility for bags on the backrest, ensuring they are securely stowed. Other attachments for the Travel & Comfort System are the coat hanger (see page 6), a folding table with cup holder function and a holder for the Apple iPadTM (see page 13 and overview, page 19).

Rear storage bag. Available in BMW Modern Line, BMW Sport Line or black. Attached to the rear seat using the central seatbelt. Made of highly resilient material with various storage compartments and two cup holders. For example for BMW 1 Series (from 09/2011).

Glasses and CD/DVD holder. Available in BMW Urban Line, BMW Sport Line or black. Simply slide it over the sunblind and its ready to use. You can put CDs or DVDs on the inside and attach a pair of glasses on the outside, e.g. for BMW 1 Series (from 09/2011).

The luggage compartment tray enables you to convert the luggage compartment floor of your BMW 1 Series into a continuous load floor. The tray fully covers the luggage compartment. Break-proof and impact-resistant. With side straps for attaching small items. The cover unfolds in three stages, allowing you to decide how much of the tray is left open. Available in two versions, for BMW Sport Line and BMW Urban Line.

And only one click is required to integrate the Apple iPadTM in the holder of the Travel & Comfort system. For maximum flexibility, the holder can be turned by 360. In Movie Mode (landscape position) you can use the screen to play video clips and films, while in Office Mode (at a slight angle and in portrait position) it is ideal for reading documents and writing e-mails: the holder can also be swivelled and tilted downwards, allowing the keyboard of the Apple iPadTM to be used highly conveniently when integrated in the holder.
