The record book shall contain a label on the cover page indicating the Membership number of the branch Name of the student Title of the course and the year Subject matter of the book.
B GUIDELINES TO PGD-IRI STUDENTS FOR WRITING THE PRACTICAL NOTE BOOK

Each experiment conducted shall be recorded in the book in a systematic manner, as mentioned below:1. Introduction of the Experiment: Write definition and the aim of the experiment and the method approached. 2. Procedure of the Experiment: Write the procedure followed including the steps followed and observations in detail. 3. Tabulation: Neatly tabulate the readings on the left side of the record book. 4. Calculations: The left side of the book shall contain the formula used and all the calculations carried our in solving the problem. Sketches: All the sketches of the experiment or the equipments used and are to be drawn neatly by using pencil only. 5. Conclusions: Conclusions are to be drawn at the end of the test based on the observations. 6. Attach all the graph sheets to the record book which were used in recording the date while Conducting the experiments. (Ex: Rheograph, Viscometer graph, etc.,) 7. After the completion of the experiments, the record book should be certified by the concerned

Department head from where the experiments are conducted.
