What is the conclusion then?

I will pray with the spirit, and I will also pray with the understanding. I will also SING WITH THE SPIRIT, and I will also sing with the understanding.
1 Corinthians 14: 15 Colossians 3: 16-17 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching

and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and SPIRITUAL SONGS, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him. In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
John 7:37-39: Acts 2: 4 And they were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other

tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

1 Corinthians 14:2 For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to

God, for no one understands him; however in the spirit he speaks mysteries.
Acts 2:11 Cretans and Arabs- we hear them speaking in our own tongues the

WONDERFUL WORKS of GOD Beloved the word of the Lord lets us know in the book of Romans 8:26 (Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.). The apostle Paul as he was teaching the churches the revelation given him by the Spirit of God, he revealed to them different ministries of the Spirit within the body of Christ. One of the things that is amazing about the revelation he had, was the speaking in tongues, he spoke in this way about it: For he who speaks in a tongue does not speak to men but to God, for no one understands him; however in the spirit he speaks mysteries (1 Corinthians 14:1). This lets us know that when we speak/ pray in other tongues, we are not just wasting our time, or saying meaningless things, we utter mysteries. Glory to God. In another place the word of the Lord says: Cretans and Arabs- we hear them speaking in our own tongues the WONDERFUL WORKS of GOD (Acts 2:4). Going back to the revelation that the Apostle Paul was sharing with the churches from the Spirit of the Lord, in the book of 1 Corinthians 14:15, he talks about singing with the spirit. I believe that

singing with the spirit is one of the ways that we can worship our heavenly father in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth). In the book Hebrews 11: 6 the word of the Lord says But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is the rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. The reason I`m mentioning this scripture about faith is that, it takes faith to speak in tongues and be convinced that you are worshiping the Father, though you do not understand what you saying. I believe this is the reason for us to be told that we are not talking to men but unto God, and He understands your prayer. For the word of God tell us that faith cometh by hearing and by hearing the word of God. Halleluya! Amazingly as we pray in the spirit our faith grows (Jude 1:20 but you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life). In same way as we sing with the spirit (sing in tongues), we do it by faith believing that it is the Spirit of God who gives the utterance and that we are singing the wonderful works of God (Acts2:4), giving glory to His Holy name. Halleluya! In the book of Colossians 3: 16-17 the apostle talks about admonishing one another in psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord. This scripture lets us know that hymns and psalms are different from spiritual songs, I believe this is the reason the apostle said: I will also SING WITH THE SPIRIT, and I will also sing with the understanding (1 Corinthians 14:15). Beloved the Father seeketh worshipers who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth, and I believe as we study the word of God (to sum up; as we fellowship with the Holy Spirit), He will give us more revelations as to how to go about this wonderful ministry of worship that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father. I encourage you brothers and sisters, to come boldly before the throne of grace and worship the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. Grace be with you all.
