Long Island post-hardcore band Sainthood Reps
have announced that they'll release a new album,
Headswell, the follow-up to their 2011 debut, on
October 22 via their new label home, No Sleep
Records (Braid, La Dispute). The opening
track/first single, "Shelter," opens up like it's going
to be a long lost Nirvana single, but then once the
vocals come in, it transitions into total hardcore
punk attack. Other elements of alt-rock and and a
bit of shoegaze/post-rock fill the track out too,
making for an anthemic and diverse recall of the
