1. Sketch any two views of a knuckle joint for connecting two 40 mm diameter rods. Show all important dimensions. 2. Draw the sectional front view and top view for the double riveted double strap zig-zag butt joint. 3. Draw sectional front view and side view of a hydraulic pipe joint of flanged type, to connect two pipes, each of diameter 50 mm.

4. Details of the tool post are given in below figure. Assemble the components in proper sequence and draw a half sectional front view and top view. Also prepare the bill of materials.

1. Two square rods of side 50 mm each, are connected by a cotter joint with a gib. Sketch the half sectional front view and side view. 2. Sketch neatly, giving dimensions, the following form of nuts for a 20 mm diameter bolt: i) Lock nut ii) Castle nut iii) Sawn nut 3. Draw half sectional front view and top view of a 50 mm bushed bearing.

4. Assemble together the parts of the screw jack shown in figure and draw its views as follows: i) Front view-right half in section ii) Top view Also make a parts list and bill of material.

1. Draw the sectional front view and top view of a double riveted double strap zig-zig but joint. Take the thickness of main plates=10 mm. Assuming pitch of rivets as three times the rivet diameter. 2. Draw two views of a Flanged pipe joint for a pipe of 100 mm diameter and having four bolts securing the flanges together. 3. Draw any two views of a hexagonal headed bolt of nominal diameter 25 mm and length 100 mm; with a hexagonal nut and washer.
