BER Explaination
Those that could not be considered using any of Boundary Analysis and Decision Tables. Lists all possible scenarios that need to be tested to achieve the goals. Goal is the intent of the test scenario. Should be concise and distinct. One look at the Goal should explain the test. The status of the various input conditions in combination to be tested. These should necessarily be from those defined in any of the sheets "Decision Tables", "Boundary Analysis" and "Additional" It should contain only numbers e.g.. 1,2,3,4, Based on the functionality priority can be set which are "High", "Medium", "Low".

The Test Case Matrix allows the tester to enter Scenario Descriptions, which will correspond with Test Scenario (TS) ID's. Each Scenario Description briefly details the actions of the tester, which will require one or more data inputs. These inputs should be labeled in bold at the top of every column and the specific required data defined underneath them per Test Scenario according to the Scenario Description. Each Scenario Description will begin with "User...". For example, when testing a trade entry screen, one input for a Test Scenario may be the Buy/Sell toggle: User creates a Forward Buy. In this case, Buy/Sell will be labeled at the top of the column and "Buy" will be entered in the column according to the Scenario Description. Testers will fill the spreadsheet below with prepared data. Prepared data is pre-created data that is setup in the database prior to testing. Prepared data provides the tester all of the necessary elements to commence testing, manual or automated. For example, a Control File may be required before a tester can commence testing. In this case, Control Files, ____________ would be the Screen Location. The corresponding Field Name(s) and Data Description(s) are defined as the attributes required to save the record to the database for the Control File.
