To the cast and crew of ALICE and R&J and their carers/parents, Firstly I would like to congratulate every single person involved with Alice in Wonderland and Romeo and Juliet for putting on two great shows at the Beacon Centre in July which I know for many of We are writing with further details of the drama festival that both plays have been entered into and provide parents/carers with the itinerary (see page 2 for Alice and Page 3 for R&J). The Woking Drama Festival is one of many opportunities for local drama groups to perform in a real professional theatre. It is a great chance to hear constructive feedback from professionals who also award prizes in different categories. There are two plays/shows each night. After our performance the cast and crew will be able to see the other play as part of the audience for free. However, we appreciate that this is a school night and it will be a late finish for some of the cast. If you decide that you would prefer for your child to leave before the second play this is an option but you would need to make your own arrangements for the return trip. The cast will have to arrive with time to spare so we are looking to organise lifts and would ask for your help in organising car pools to help transport the cast. As an added incentive we have a limited number of free tickets for designated drivers willing to offer their services. (Excluding props, costume and scenery there are around 15 children for Alice and about 13 adults for R&J to transport there and back). The Rhoda McGaw Theatre has 250 seats and we need your support to fill it. Tickets are available from: www.wokingdramafestival.co.uk, 01932 562 762 or 07794 624 106. Tickets are only 8.00 and there is a multi-storey car park available at the adjacent Peacocks Centre, directions are available via the Festival website. The itinerary is on the following page with a returns slip. Please complete this and return to me as soon as possible. Please feel free to contact Matt or myself if you have any questions. More information about the festival and the other plays taking part is on their website: www.wokingdramafestival.co.uk Thank you once again for all your help and support,

you would have been your first performance on a different stage.
