4.-Write a personal profile: I am currently studying English Literature at UNAM. The exigencies check the word I must meet as a first year student are not too demanding at the moment. Right now, I just have to attend all classes and do all of my assignments. Although it sounds simple, studying this degree requires a hundred percent commitment and producing high-quality work, and since University is far from home, I must also have management, planning and organisational skills. Moreover, as I want to become a translator, I must keep working on acquiring a really broad general culture, so that I will be able to interact with different ways of thinking in the near future. I have always been interested in languages and cultural studies. During high school I was in a global culture program. In it language fairs was also included on the program. Due to this, I learnt to do different sorts of jobs, from speaking in public, solving problems in a short amount of time, investigating and identifying different kind of problems and theories, to creating costumes, painting, decorating and even a little bit of carpentry. In my free time I enjoy listening to music, learning how to play the guitar, collecting pictures of famous paintings and visiting historic and cultural places. I found it very useful because I think all kinds of sciences are somehow related, and that is why I can relate any piece of knowledge with my field and the knowledge I already have. I consider that my the studies and projects I have, have helped me make people aware of many problems we are facing now and to propose possible solutions, as well as to give valuable information. I am motivated, disciplined and always eager to learn from experience. All these qualities make me able to focus on what is really essential. Not bad but pay attention to the yellow underlined words and those in red.
