RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR RESIDENTS 1. Accommodation is offered on semester basis.

Where a resident wishes to continue with his residence in a subsequent semester, he shall register on the Ischool before the following semester. 2. Places offered are not transferrable. 3. Residents are not allowed to accommodate any Perchers in the rooms. Any resident who harbors Perchers shall be liable to the loss of the residency. 4. To ensure the security and peace of residence, non-resident visitors shall not be entertained in the rooms beyond 9:00pm. Residence visitors however may be entertained in the social area such as the TV room till 10:00pm. 5. Residents leaving the hall for 24 hours or more should inform the dean assistants. The last person to leave the room should always deposite the keys at the dean assistants office. Residents are not allowed to make duplicate copies of their keys. 6. Intentional damage to the hall property shall be charged to the offender. All residents shall be required to sign an inventory of items in their rooms and shall account for such items at the end of each semester. 7. Residents shall respect each others right to privacy, peace and quiet. Audio equipment shall be kept at acceptable volume levels. Residents who are found to be immoral, noisy, and rude and generally of unacceptable behavior (eg assaults, stealing, smoking, drunkenness etc.) shall lose their residence in the hall without refund of any amount paid.

8. Residents are adviced not to temper with any electricity wiring or fittings. However, all electrical and plumbing faults or any other defects should be reported immediately to the dean assistants. 9. The use of naked light, eg candles, lanterns etc is strictly prohibited. Battery operated light should be used in the event of electric power outage. 10. Residents shall have a grace period of two days only after the end of a semester to vacate their rooms. Residents wishing to stay in the hall during vacation shall inform the dean assistants at least two (2) weeks before the end of the semester and shall enter into an agreement with the dean assistants for the period. 11. At the end of each semester, all keys shall be surrounded to the dean assistants before residents leave the premises of the hall finally. Residents who fail to do so would be charged. 12. Residents shall not leave their personal belongings in their rooms during vacations. Residents who wish to leave their items shall see the dean assistants for appropriate place to do so. 13. Any resident found dealing in drugs including alcohol in any form shall be redrawn from the hall and shall forfeit any rent paid. 14. Smoking is not allowed in all areas of the hall. 15. Ladies are not allowed into the rooms. 16. All rules in the students hand book are also applied in the hall. 17. Rooms are inspected on every Friday.

18. These rules and regulations shall be subjected to change from time to time and due notice shall be given accordingly.

AGREEMENT

I.agree to pay the full rent and all other charges for utilities and other facilities and services which may become due during the period that I shall be admitted as a resident of the M.A Bediako Hall, if I fail to observe ALL rules and regulations, copy of which has been made available to me.
