Guidelines for Writing Research Proposal

The contents of Research Proposal are as follows:

Title of the research Problem identification/ Background to the research Review of the prevoius studies related to the title Objectives of the research Methodology Expected significant contribution to new knowledge/expected benefits to the country/society/organizations Citation and list of references Schedule for the research Your research proposal have to be written in English should have the following components and it must be typed on A4 size paper and double space. The whole proposal should not exceed 10 pages. Attach the proposed research with your application form and send to the respective faculty.

An Autobiographical Essay
Not more than 700 words, typewritten on A 4 size paper, using word. The essay is basically about yourseft. It should tell us about you and essentially what you would want the reader to know about yourself. The essay could focus on your personal life, your background, your achievements, accomplishments or on your experiences. Nobody knows you better than yourseft, so tell the readers all that you would want them to know about you. How well youll do this, depends on your ideas and your writing skills.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

B.Ed. (Hons) with a minimum CGPA of 3.00; or B.Ed. (Hons) and one year experience in teaching; or B.A. (Hons) and one year experience in teaching; or Any other Bachelors Degree and Diploma in Education with one year experience in teaching. Candidates will be interviewed to determine their suitability for the areas they specify. A candidate applying for admission is required to submit a research proposal for the area of study.
