Will this work after being truncated/overburn = Yes. From what i can tell so far, the game is working fine after being truncated/overburnt. However i cant guarantee whether you will be able to complete the entire campaign with a truncated burn. NOTE: Do not post any irrelevant comments or posts in this topic. Instructions for Users with a Flashed Console to Play GTA V:

If you have a flashed console with LT+3.0 or LT+2.0 then you have two ways to get this game to work.

i. Manually transfer DVD 1 to a USB / Internal HDD . Burn the second DVD to a disc and play game from second DVD ii. Burn both DVDs to sperate discs using the program of your choice.

Method 1:

Manual USB transfer + Burning DVD 2:

This process is quite simple. You will first extract DVD 1 using a program called Xbox Backup Creator. Then transfer some files from the extracted content to an external USB via Horizon and finally play the game by burning DVD 2.

Things Required:

i. Horizon
http://www.xboxmb.com/horizon/

ii. Xbox Backup Creator

iii. A 16GB USB drive formatted using your Xbox 360. Tutorials for those who dont know how to do this
http://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/accessories/usb-flash-drive

1. Download Xbox Backup Creator and extract DVD1's content using it. Read the following tutorial if you aren't sure how to do this
http://xboxpirate.eu/forums/topic/178-extract-iso-games-using-xboxbackup-creator/

2. After extracting the DVD1, look inside the 'content' folder and get the following 4 files from it: 545408A700000000 545408A700000001 545408A700000002 545408A700000003 3. Download Horizon and open it. Connect the Xbox formatted USB drive to your PC. Now drag and drop the four files you found on Horizon. Wait a few minutes for the transfer to complete. 4. Now you have two options: i. If your console has an internal HDD and you want to play the game from that, move the files from the USB to your internal HDD. ii. If you dont have an internal HDD, use this USB to play DVD1

5. DVD 1 has now been set and you dont have to do anything else. Lets move to DVD 2

6. Get the DVD 2 ISO and burn it to a dual layer DVD like you burn any Xbox 360 Game. The process remains the same. When you have burnt this ISO, insert the DVD in your console and play the game.

7. You should now have a fully functional copy of GTA V

NOTE: If horizon isn't working for you then do the following:

1. Download Xtaf Explorer from this link and open it.

http://bit.ly/14NIXqh

2. In Xtaf open your Xbox Formatted USB drive and create the following file structure , content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\ i.e Make a folder called 'content' in the USB's root (base). Inside that make a folder called 0000000000000000 (these are 16 zeros) Inside this 16 zero folder make a folder called 545408A7 Inside the 545408A7, make a folder called 00000002 3. Now paste the four files above in the 00000002 folder using Xtaf. 4. After this continue following from STEP 4 above.

Method 2:

Burning both DVDS

1. Get both your DVDs and burn both of them to TWO separate dual layer discs using the same method you use with every Xbox 360 Game 2. After burning, insert DVD 1 in your console and start the game. You will be prompted to install its content on your internal HDD or a USB formatted by the XBox. Install the contents of the DVD as directed. 3. After installing DVD1 insert DVD 2 in your console and play the game. 4. If you want to install DVD2 as well to your console. You can do that from the xbox 360 dashboard (like every game).

Instructions for JTAG/RGH Users to Install GTA V:

1. The contents of each dvd are as follows:

DVD1 = Mandatory content Installation. You need this dvd to play the game DVD2 = Single player + GTA Online

Which means the first dvd is just a normal DLC/additional installation and not an actual game.

2. Setup each DVD like this.

DVD1:

This DVD has to be installed on your console's internal HDD or a USB drive which was formatted using your console. The size of the USB drive should be enough for the entire disc. Extract DVD 1 using Xbox Backup Creator (or any other application you prefer) and copy the 'content' folder from the extracted files to your internal HDD or the external xbox formatted USB drive.

When you transfer your files, they should look like this

HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000000

HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000001 HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000002 HDD:\content\0000000000000000\545408A7\00000002\545408A700000003

i.e. 1 folder called 00000002 and 4 files inside it.

DVD2:

Files from DVD 2 have to be treated like a normal game which means you can either make an ISOrip (using XBC or other apps) and use that on your JTAG/RGH or convert the ISO into a GOD container.

NOTE: Do not make a GOD container of the first DVD, your game will not work if you do that.

Instructions for Users with a X360key to Play GTA V:

The instructions for Xkey and Wasabi (+ other ODDE) users are very easy.

1. Copy both ISOs to your HDD.

2. Start DVD 1 using your ODDE device (xkey, wasabi etc) 3. DVD 1 will ask you to install its content on your internal HDD or a USB formatted by the xbox itself. Do this as directed 4. When the installation finishes. Open DVD2 using your device and play the game.
