succeded to earn net profit at IDR 45.141 billion, soaring from
previous year net profit at IDR 22.563 billion.
Brief History: PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga
Tbk (the Bank), formerly PT Bank Agroniaga Tbk was originally established on the full understanding of the Dana Pensiun
Perkebunan (Dapenbun) as manager of employee pension funds
PT Perkebunan Nusantara all, that agribusiness in Indonesia is
potential to be developed. So when the government issued policies that provide convenience to open a business bank on the
27th October 1988, Dapenbun use this opportunity to establish
bank the main business activities to help finance the agribusiness
sector. AGRO BANK established by notarial Rd. Soekarsono,
SH in Jakarta No. 27 dated 27 September 1989, then obtained a
business license from the Ministry of Finance on December 11,
1989, began commercial operations on February 8, 1990.
Extraordinary shareholders meeting approved the acquisition of 3,030,239,023 shares of Bank Agroniaga (AGRO) belonging to the Pension Fund Plantation (Dapenbun) directly by
the Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI), equivalent to 88.65% of the
total shares issued and fully paid in Banks Agroniaga as stated
in the Notarial Deed No. Agro Bank. 68 dated December 29,
2009, made before Rusnaldy, SH, Notary in Jakarta, including
the implementation of the reduction and / or the addition of
stock ownership by the Bank BRI to be at least 76% of the total
shares issued and fully paid shares in the Bank Agro. In the agreement, also agreed the draft deed of acquisition and acquisition.
