The Numbers of the Words

Was Mosheh/Moses a Melchizedek Priest?

by Craig Peters

hwhy your Elohim will raise up unto you a Prophet from your midst,
of your brothers, like unto me: To him you shall hearken 16 according to all that you desired of hwhy your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the Voice of hwhy your Elohim, neither let me see this great fire any more, that I die not. 17 And hwhy said to me, They have well said that which they have spoken. 18 I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brothers, like unto you; and I will put My words in His mouth, and He shall speak unto them all that I shall command Him. 19 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken to My words which He will speak in My Name, I will require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:15-19

a Speaking with a dear brother earlier this week, the truth of an ongoing meditation
was confirmed once again. This meditation has been progressing for some months, and after the conversation, the writer was inclined in the Spirit to set forth some of the chesed/lovingkindness and truth coming forth from the Presence of hwhy. Blessed be His Name who leads His people onward in searching out His Word and ways.

The Melchizedek Priesthood and the Levitical Priesthood Scripture history shows the Melchizedek Priesthood predated the Levitical Priesthood by many centuries, if not many eons. Others have commented that the two priesthoods existed side-by-side for some while. This writer concurs with that viewpoint. We are given significant evidence the Melchizedek Priesthood never went away as well as indications that both priesthoods will thrive, side-by-side, in the Messianic Age. We proceed to ponder additional evidence in this great matter. Abraham paid tithes to Melchizedek1 from the spoils of war after he recovered his nephew, Lotwho, along with his family, had been stolen by a confederacy of heathen kings.2 From this account, it appears evident Abraham was a faithful subject within the Melchizedek Priesthood. And while Abraham was not the High Priest of this Order, we believe the patriarch of all Yisrael was also a prophet3 and a priest4 within the Melchizedek Priesthood. Further, New Covenant believers are subject to
Genesis 14:18-20, Hebrews 7:5-10 Genesis 14:1-16 3 Genesis 20:7. And so it is with believers in the Messiah: as subjects of the Melchizedek High Priest, they are also prophets within the heavenly, Melchizedek Priesthood. Matthew 5:11-12, Hebrews 5:5-10 4 Genesis15:1-11

eSwhy the Messiahthe One who has been ordained to be the High Priest forever after the Order of Melchizedek. Yet those who are of the faith of Abraham are heirs with the patriarch; and like the father (Abraham) of all the faithful, Messianic believers are partakers with the Messiah5 in this Royal, Melchizedek Order.6 And in the Millennial Kingdom, overcoming believers in the Messiah will be further exalted within this heavenly, Melchizedek Priesthood.7 Yet speaking of that future time in the Messianic Era, hwhy also indicates He will raise up Levites to minister before Him in the Levitical Priesthood.8 So we see both priesthoods will be alive and well even in the future Messianic Age.

But all of this makes one wonder: What happened to the Melchizedek Priesthood across the time when Yisrael was called out of Egypt and our nation eventually settled in the Land of Promise, remaining there across hundreds of years? This was many long centuries before the Messiah (of the Melchizedek Order) first appeared in the days of the Roman kings some 2000 years ago. And at His appearing, eSwhy brought light and immortality to light through the Good News. Yet after His resurrection and ascension, eSwhy began His rule over all the earth through the Melchizedek Priesthoodof which He is the Ruling Prophet, Priest, and King. We are told that Government of the Messiah, via the Melchizedek Priesthood, will only increase across the Ages: 6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His Name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, El Mighty, Father of Eternity, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the increase of His government and of peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his Kingdom, to establish it, and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from henceforth, even for ever. The zeal of hwhy Tzebaot will perform this. Isaiah 9:6-7 What Was the Highest Position in the Levitical Priesthood? All of the above brings us to yet another question: What was the highest position within the Levitical Priesthood? Most people would answer haCohen haGadol: the High Priest. This writer would concur with that answer. And Aaron, the older brother of Mosheh,9 was the first High Priest of that Levitical Order.10 Yet it is abundantly clear that Mosheh had authority over his brother, Aaron:

John 13:8, Hebrews 3:1 1Peter 2:9 7 Luke 19:17, Revelation 5:9-10, 20:4-6 8 Isaiah 66:20-22, Jeremiah 33:17-22, Psalm 51:18-19 9 Exodus 7:7 10 Exodus 28:1

Mosheh was the prophet who washed the Levites with water and who anointed Aharon with oil,11 thus, ordaining them and setting them apart to obtain their inheritance to all generations.12 Through Mosheh, hwhy further set forth many Elohim-given directives and commandments that the Levites were to follow.13 When Levitical priests rebelled, hwhy spoke and worked through Mosheh to bring correction and judgment.14 But if Mosheh had authority over Aaron and the Levites, he must have been part of a completely different priesthood. Aharon had the highest position within the Levitical Order, so there was nothing higher. Because of this, we believe Mosheh was a priest15 after the Order of Melchizedek. And because Mosheh was a Melchizedek priest, his connection to the prophecy of the coming Messiah is that much more significant. In the next section, we now elaborate on the widely known prediction of this Prophet who would be like Mosheh. The Mashiach/Messiah: The Prophet Like Mosheh There is a prophecy in the Torah of the coming Messiah which was spoken by hwhy through Mosheh; and this word indicated the Mashiach would be a Prophet like the Leader of Yisrael in the days of the Exodus. Here is what Mosheh said of the Messiah who would come after him in the Name of hwhy:16 15 hwhy your Elohim shall raise up for you a Prophet like me from your midst, from your brothers. Listen to Him, 16 according to all you asked of hwhy your Elohim in Horeb in the day of the assembly, saying, Let me not hear again the voice of hwhy my Elohim, nor let me see this great fire any more, lest I die. 17 And hwhy said to me, What they have spoken is good. 18 I shall raise up for them a Prophet like you out of the midst of their brothers. And I shall put My Words in His mouth, and He shall speak to them all that I command Him. 19 And it shall be, the man who does not listen to My Words, which He speaks in My Name, I require it of him. Deuteronomy 18:15-19, ISRV Like Mosheh,17 the Messiah eSwhy was a Prophet mighty in deed and word before Elohim and all the people.18 Yet He was far mightier than even Mosheh. Because

eSwhy was without sin, an exceeding abundance of favor and truth came forth from the Messiah.19 Thus, being sinless, it was impossible for eSwhy to be held in deaths grip;20 He came forth out of death21 with resurrection power to rule over the Kingdom of hwhy as the High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek. eSwhy is the Great Ruling Priest within the Melchizedek Priesthood. So it is appropriate that Mosheh would be of the Melchizedek Order since his Ultimate Successor was to be the Greatest Priest within that Heavenly Priesthood.22 The Melchizedek Priesthood and the Shabbat: Mosheh Upheld the Shabbat in Prophetic Anticipation of the MashiachWho was/is the Sovereign Creator of the Seventh Day According to the title of the song, we know Mosheh wrote Tehillim/Psalm 90. Yet there is evidence that Mosheh also wrote Psalm 9123 and Psalm 92 as well. As far as Moshehs significant ministry-service in revealing the Shabbat and his authoring of Psalm 92, we note many things: 1. The Shabbat is a Day of Thanksgiving in which we are to especially reveal the dox/chesed/lovingkindness of hwhy. The title of Psalm 92 is A Psalm, A Song for the Day of the Shabbat. One of Moshehs greatest prayers was his request to be shown the splendor of hwhy. We will soon see how this relates to the ageless Shabbat, but let us first study the account of that prayer. The dialog between Mosheh and hwhy was going along like this: 13 Now therefore, I beseech You, if I have found favor in Your sight, show me now Your ways, that I may know You, to the end that I may find favor in Your sight: and consider that this nation is Your people. 14 And He said, My Presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest. 15 And he said to Him, If Your Presence does not go with us, carry us not up from here. 16 For wherein now shall it be known that I have found favor in Your sight, I and Your people? Is it not in that You go with us, so that we are separated, I and Your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth? 17 And hwhy said to Mosheh, I will do this thing also that You have spoken; for You have found favor in My sight, and I know you by name. 18 And he said, Show me, I beseech You, Your splendor.

Luke 24:19 John 1:15-17, 29, 36 20 Acts 2:24, Hebrews 13:20 21 Acts 2:24, Hebrews 13:20 22 For significant evidence that Joshuathe immediate successor of Moshehwas also a prophet of the Melchizedek Order, see the study Psalm 110 and the Melchizedek Priesthood: http://www.scribd.com/doc/133338937/Psalm-110-and-the-Melchizedek-Priesthood 23 Regarding Mosheh authoring Psalm 91, see the Companion Bible notes on that psalm.

19 And He said, I will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the Name of hwhy before you; and I will favor specifically that I will favor and will have compassion specifically that I will have compassion Exodus 33:13-19 Thus, hwhy ordained to set Mosheh in the cleft of the rock and to pass by so as to reveal the splendor of His Name. To be ready to see hwhy, Mosheh had to show his willingness to hear and obey. Thus, the prophet fulfilled the Shema;24 he obeyed hwhy by hewing out two more tables of stone like the ones he had previously broken: 1 And hwhy said to Mosheh, Hew two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon the tables the words that were on the first tables, which you broke. 2 And be ready by the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to Me on the top of the mountain. 3 And no man shall come up with you; neither let any man be seen throughout all the mountain; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mountain. 4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Mosheh rose up early in the morning, and went up into Mount Sinai, as hwhy had commanded him, and took in his hand two tables of stone. 5 And hwhy descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the Name of hwhy 6 And hwhy passed by before him, and proclaimed:

hwhy, hwhy, a compassionate El, merciful and showing favor, slow to anger, and great in dox/chesed and faithfulness; 7 watching over dox/chesed for thousands, forgiving iniquity
and transgression and sin; and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the childrens children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation. 8 And Mosheh made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. Exodus 34:1-8 In this revelation, hwhy made known the nature of His Name, His overwhelming character and greatness by which He will eventually be known and manifested to all mankind. And the only aspect of His character which He repeated in this revelation (to add great emphasis) was the age-abiding dox/chesed/lovingkindness of the Most High. All of this now brings us to the great chesed of hwhy which we are to show forth each Shabbat out of grateful hearts which are overflowing with thanksgiving towards the Most High. As mentioned at the outset of this section, the Shabbat is a Day of Thanksgiving, a Day in which we are to especially reveal/show forth the dox/chesed,

or lovingkindness, of hwhy. The title of Psalm 92 is A Psalm, A Song for the Day of the Shabbat. And the first lines of this song begin as seen just below: It is a good thing to give thanks to hwhy, and to sing praises to Your Name, Most High; 2 to show forth Your lovingkindness/Kdox in the morning, and Your faithfulness in the night Psalm 92:1-2 In Hebrew, the phrase translated Your lovingkindness is just one word:

Kdox
chas-de-ka Your Lovingkindness Yet the misparim value derived from the letters in this word result in a sum of exactly 92; this number precisely matches the number of the psalm in which it appears:

(mv) 92 = (20)K + (4)d + (60) o + (8) x = chas-de-ka = Your Lovingkindness It is not a coincidence that Kdox/chasdeka/Your lovingkindness = 92 and that this word appears in Psalm 92a song which features the immutable Shabbat. Through this number connection, the Spirit teaches us the Shabbat is a special time set apart by hwhy to give thanks to the Most High for His chesed and faithfulness. Thus, while being instructed over the importance of the Shabbat in the Melchizedek Priesthood, hwhy would also reveal to us how the revelation of His Name to Mosheh on Mount Sinai relates to the Seventh Day.25 And if there is any doubt over that statement, the full value (fv) of Kdox/chasdeka equals 130exactly matching the value of the Hebrew for ynyo/Sinai:

(mv) 92 = (20)K + (4)d + (60) o + (8) x = chas-de-ka = Your Lovingkindness

(pv) 38 = (11)K + (4)d + (15) o + (8) x = chas-de-ka = Your Lovingkindness ========= (fv) 130

(mv) 130 = (10) y + (50) n + (10) y + (60) o = ynyo = See-nigh = Sinai Having placed a special anointing of His Presence/Spirit within the Set Apart Day, hwhy rightly expects us to honor His Name with hearts of gratitude for His enduring love, manifested in so many marvelous ways throughout the Creation. The Shabbat is

a memorial of the creative acts of hwhy and on this Day we should recall, remember, and memorialize the work of His hands seen throughout the heavens and the earth.26 An additional point that would appear to point to Mosheh as the author of Psalm 92 is seen in the Song of Mosheh: 30 And Mosheh spoke in the ears of all the assembly of Yisrael the words of this song, until they were finished: 1 Give ear, you heavens, and I will speak; and let the earth hear the words of my mouth. 2 My teaching shall drop as the rain; my speech shall distil as the dew, as the small rain upon the tender grass, and as the showers upon the herb. 3 For I will proclaim the Name of hwhy: Ascribe greatness to our Elohim. 4 The Rock, His work is perfect; for all His ways are judgment: an El of faithfulness and without iniquity, righteous and upright is He. Deuteronomy 31:30-32:4 Yet in Tehillim/Psalm 92 we read: 12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm-tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 13 They are planted in the House of hwhy; they shall flourish in the courts of our Elohim. 14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be full of sap and green: 15 to show that hwhy is upright; He is my Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him. Psalm 92:12-15 We now move into point two concerning Mosheh and his great, prophetic connection to the Shabbat/Seventh Day 2. The Creation Account Mosheh was the author of the Creation account in Genesis. He was the one who was inspired to write those words which showed the light of hwhy given on the First Day culminated in the Light of Shabbat that came forth because of His Presence/blessing which Elohim put upon and within the Seventh Day. In various studies already presented, the following thoughts were written about the light of hwhy which He placed within the Shabbat/Sabbath by putting His Presence/Spirit in the Seventh Day.27 Some highlights of these teachings have been complied and reorganized in this section as we review certain truths for those who may not have seen them previously. All of this is done to set forth the necessary foundation for what will then follow in regards to the giving of the Manna.

Exodus 20:10-11, 31:16-17, Psalm 92:4-5 For many additional details, see the following studies: Psalms 27 and 72: Revealing the Light and the Chesed of hwhy http://www.scribd.com/doc/114190394/Psalms-27-and-72-Revealing-the-Light-and-Chesed-of-YHWH Psalm 1: Let There Be Light http://www.scribd.com/doc/58703125/Psalm-1-Let-There-Be-Light

On the First Day of the Creation (of the heavens and earth that are now28), Elohim spoke forth the existence of light:29

rwa - yhyw
ur light vay-yu-hee and it came to be

rwa
ur light

yhy
yu-hee let there be

Myhla
Elohim Elohim

rmayw
Vay-yo-mare And He said

The Hebrew word for light is rwa/ur. And there is amazing significance behind the misparim of rwa/ur/light being 207. This value is obtained by the calculation shown just below:

(mv)

207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

The light of the First Day progressed across each of the following Six Days. While we will not provide more details for all Six of these days of Creation, readers may study those meditations in a separate manuscript.30 Still more light from Elohim was seen in each of the subsequent days of Creation, culminating in the great light which hwhy placed within the Seventh Day Shabbat. Then, on the Seventh Day, Elohim rested from all His works. This Day was blessed and set apart (sanctified) by Elohim with a special anointing of His Light and Presence; and we must know that it is only the Spirit and the Presence of hwhy that can set anything apart.31 No man can add to or take away from the Design of hwhy in setting something apart,32 although carnal man can certainly defile something that Elohim has set apart (yet it is man, and not Elohim, who suffers the consequences). That hwhy placed His light and Presence in the Seventh Day is evident when we behold the misparim for the word Shabbat (Sabbath):

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

But this number, 702, is the reflectionthe mirror imageof the misparim for light:
(mv)

207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

So even within in the Creation Week itself, hwhy declared the end from the beginning:33 The Light of the First Day (207) culminated in the Light of the Seventh Day (702).
28 29

2Peter 3:7 Seen here is the Hebrew text of Breshit/Genesis 1:3. 30 See the studies just referenced in an earlier footnote. 31 Exodus 29:43-44 32 Ecclesiastes 3:14 33 Isaiah 46:9-10

This explains why those who wish to seek hwhy and to walk in His light will receive the most understanding from His Word by upholding the sanctity of the Shabbat. As we honor the Shabbat, we honor hwhy, and He will bless us with greater light and understanding from His Eternal Word: for it is only by walking in His Sabbath Light that we will see light.34 Yes, hwhy will certainly reveal Himself to us on other days of the week, but in all of eternity, we can never regain the opportunity lost by failing to seek Him within the light of that special Shabbat He has given to end any particular week. hwhy is jealous for the Set Apart Time to the end He may meet with us, and so must we be to meet with Him. Those who recognize the unchanging Messiah35 as the Sovereign of the Shabbat36 will also experience Him shining the light of Elohims splendor on and from the Torah37 and revealing still more of the Fathers Name38 to His people: 15 But unto this day, whenever Mosheh is read, a veil lies upon their heart. 16 But whenever it shall turn to the Sovereign, the veil is taken away. 17 Now hwhy is the Spirit: and where the Spirit of hwhy is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the splendor of the Sovereign, are transformed into the same imagefrom splendor to splendoreven as from the hwhy the Spirit. 2Corinthians 3:15-18 The riches of His great wisdom and knowledge are hidden in the Mashiach/Messiah,39 and these immense and highly valued treasures are not granted to the casual passer-by. hwhy will only give His Spirit and reveal His Word and ways to those who will obey Him,40 to those who will love Him and seek Him with all their hearts.41 And there are still other ways in which the Hebrew misparim/numbers reflect the great truth of His Spirit/Presence/Light having been perpetually placed within the Seventh Day! The Shabbat is the Day that has been set apart with the light of His Presence, the Light of His Name/Spirit. To see how the Hebrew numbers reveal this, we will review the place value for the Name of hwhy and for light/ur/rwa:

(pv) (pv)

26 = (5) h + (6) w + (5) h + (10) y = hwhy = YHWH

27 = (20) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

34 35

Psalm 36:9 Hebrews 13:8 36 Matthew 12:8, Mark 2:28 37 2Corinthians 3:14-16 38 John 17:26 39 Colossians 2:2-3 40 Acts 5:32, Psalm 119:97-100, John 14:21 41 Psalm 119:2, Jeremiah 29:13

As we have seen many times and in many ways, light (27) emanates from the awesome and loving Presence of hwhy (26). Yet when these two values (26 and 27) are multiplied together, we get the precise value for the misparim of Shabbat:
26 (YHWH) x 27 (Light) = 702 (Shabbat)

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

Yes, hwhy has most certainly placed His Name/Spirit and His Light within the Qadosh42 Shabbat, making the Seventh Day a perpetual Sanctuary in Time and Space; and those who enter thereinhonoring the Light of His Loving Presencewill be blessed with still more of His Spirit, light, splendor, and love.
t s r q u p e o n m l k y j x z w h d g b a

Having established this foundational revelation, we will see the very same results in the giving of the Manna which hwhy orchestrated to reveal the Shabbat to all Yisrael and to test whether or not our forefathers would walk in the Torah and uphold the sanctity of His Set Apart Day. This brings us to point three regarding Mosheh and his great, prophetic connection to the Shabbat/Seventh Day. 3. Mosheh Used the Manna to Teach Yisrael of the Shabbat Because the Shabbat is pivotal to True worship, hwhy used Mosheh to speak to Yisrael about the Shabbat in many ways. Another way the Shabbat was revealed relates to the giving of the manna to Yisrael in the wilderness. Our forefathers would be given manna for six days and then none would fall on the Seventh Day: Just as the light which broke forth on the First Day of Creation culminated in the light of hwhy which emanated from His Presence on the Shabbat, there is similar revelation of the Shabbat which is seen in the Giving of the Manna in the wilderness. In Hebrew, the word for manna is composed of only two letters: Nm/mahn. This word is shown below, along with its place value and misparim value:

(pv) (mv)

27 = (14) w + (13) m = Nm = Nm = mahn = manna

90 = (50) w + (40) m = Nm = Nm = mahn = manna

It is interesting to see the misparim value of Manna is 90 and to note the first psalm attributed to the prophet Mosheh is Tehillim/Psalms 90. This does not seem to be coincidental since Yisrael was under the leadership of Mosheh when the miracle first began surrounding the giving of the Manna. It is also significant the place value for Manna is 27the number which equals the place value of light:

(pv)

27 = (20) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

42

(qadosh = set apart and is most often translated as holy)

10

What light was there in connection with the giving of the Manna? The giving of the Manna centered around the Seventh Day Shabbat; so what might this significant number (27) mean and what might it have to do with the Shabbat? In time, the Spirit answered that question: it was soon realized the full value of Manna (Nm/mahn) was 117the number composed of the sum between 27 (its place value) and 90 (its misparim value): The Full Value of Manna:

27 + 90 = 117
Psalm 117 directs the nations to praise hwhy and it is by the goodness of Elohim (which He continually bestows upon our nation, Yisrael) that He intends to bring all the peoples of the earth to the knowledge of His great light.43 The goodness of hwhy was certainly upon ancient Yisrael in His leading us for forty years through the wilderness and then bringing us into the Land of Promise. And the daily provision of Manna was a significant part of that goodness! Here is what occurred, and what hwhy recorded through Mosheh, just prior to the Manna provisions commencement: 1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Yisrael came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt. 2 And the whole congregation of the children of Yisrael murmured against Mosheh and against Aharon in the wilderness: 3 and the children of Yisrael said to them, Would that we had died by the hand of hwhy in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the fleshpots, when we did eat bread to the full; for you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger. 4 Then hwhy said to Mosheh, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people will go out and gather a days portion every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in My Torah, or not. 5 And it will come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall prepare that which they bring in, and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily. Exodus 16:1-4 And yet another miracle occurred over and above the daily provision itself: the Manna that would normally spoil if kept over until the next day did not spoil when kept over until the Shabbat: 19 And Mosheh said to them, Let no man leave of it until the morning. 20 Notwithstanding, they hearkened not to Mosheh; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and became foul: and Mosheh was angry with them. 21 And they gathered it morning by morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun grew hot, it melted. 22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much

11

bread, two omers for each one: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Mosheh. 23 And he said to them, This is that which hwhy has spoken, Tomorrow is a complete rest, a Qadosh Shabbat to hwhy: bake that which you will bake, and boil that which you will boil; and all that remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning. 24 And they laid it up until the morning, as Mosheh commanded: and it did not become foul, neither was there any worm therein. 25 And Mosheh said, Eat that today; for today is a Shabbat to hwhy: today you will not find it in the field. 26 Six days you shall gather it; but on the Seventh Day is the Shabbat, in it there shall be none. Exodus 16:19-25 And while all Yisrael had been directed not to go out to collect Manna on the Shabbat, some still failed to heed the warning: 27 And it came to pass, on the Seventh Day, that there went forth some of the people to gather, but they found not. 28 Then said hwhy to Mosheh, How long will you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws? 29 See, because, hwhy, has given you the Shabbat, for this cause, He is giving you on the sixth day, food for two days: abide every man in his place, let no man go forth from his dwelling on the Seventh Day. 30 So the people rested on the Seventh Day. Exodus 16:27-30 Thus, the giving of the manna was an exercise in light/revelation: Light came from the provision of hwhy across the six days leading up to the Shabbat; and light resulted when there was no Manna to be found in the fields on the Seventh Day; the absence of Manna was light! hwhy revealed His Shabbat and miraculously preserved whatever was prepared in advance to honor His Set Apart Time. Yet the Hebrew misparim (numbers) will also reveal the Shabbat at the end of the six days of Manna-Provision from Heaven! Recall the full value of Manna equals 117:

(pv) (mv)

27 = (14) w + (13) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

90 = (50) w + (40) m = Nm = Nm/mahn/manna

================== Total = 117 Manna (117) was gathered across the six days (6), and then came the Shabbat. Yet collecting Manna across 6 days creates the following multiplication problem:

117 (Mannas Full Value) x 6 (Days of Provision)

But when multiplied, this value is precisely equal to the misparim for the Qadosh/Set Apart Shabbat!

117 (Manna) x 6 (Days of Provision) = 702 (Shabbat)

(mv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

The gathering of Manna for six days culminated in the Shabbatupon which there was to be no gathering because there would be no Manna. Just as the light (207) spoken forth on the First Day of Creation was progressively revealed across the Six Daysleading to and culminating in the Light of the Seventh Day (Shabbat = 702) even so the light (27) seen in the provision of the Manna (also 27) in the wilderness culminated in the arrival of the Shabbat and the Light of the Seventh Day (702). This is the Day which hwhy says will remain as an age-abiding observance across the many eons of time that it will take to see 1000 generations come forth upon the Earth.44 This brings us to point four in our contemplations over the prophetic connection between Mosheh and the Shabbat/Seventh Day. 4. The Tzi-tzit were Instituted by Mosheh in Relation to the Shabbat. The tzi-tzit were instituted by hwhy, through Mosheh, after the Seventh Day was violated by a disobedient Israeli: 38 Speak to the children of Yisrael, and say to them that they are to make tzi-tzit on the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of each border a cord of blue: 39 and it shall be to you for tzi-tzit, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of hwhy, and do them; and that you follow not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to play the harlot; 40 that you may remember and do all My commandments, and be set apart to your Elohim. 41 I am hwhy your Elohim, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your Elohim: I am hwhy your Elohim. Numbers 15:38-41 This brings us to the fifth point regarding Mosheh and his prophetic ministry-service of upholding the Shabbat. 5. Mosheh: A Man of the Elohim Mosheh was called by hwhy, a man of the Elohim. In Hebrew, that phrase looks like this:

Myhlah sya hsm

the Elohim a man (of) Mosheh

The Hebrew misparim/numbers surrounding this phrase show us no one can be a man of the Elohim apart from truly upholding His Shabbat.

============================ Presently, we only choose to comment on one of the numbers seen above: 747, the misparim value (mv) for the phrase. Given the ministry-service of Mosheh was so significant around setting forth and upholding the Shabbat, that the phrase under consideration would add to 747 is simply indescribably amazing; and it shows us still more of the greatness, sovereignty, and foreknowledge of hwhy, blessed be His Name. We says this because 747 is also the full value (fv) of the Hebrew word for Shabbat, thus, matching the above phrase that describes the prophet Mosheh:

(mv) (pv) (fv)

702 = (400) t + (2) b + (300) S = tbS = Shabbat

45 = (22) t + (2) b + (21) S = tbS = Shabbat 747

============== Mosheh was a man of the one, true Elohim and we magnify hwhy for this number connection that proves the eternal importance of His Shabbat for all those who would truly serve Him.

In light of the above facts about the great work of hwhy in the life of Mosheh, that the Messiah would be the Prophet like Mosheh is so stunningly significant because, as great as the ancient Leader of Yisrael was, he was still only a prophetic forerunner of the One who not only upheld the Shabbat, but whose sovereign Presence in the Day set it apart. Not only so, the Messiah was the Creator of the Shabbat.45 So everything which was true of Mosheh regarding the Shabbat is that much more true in relation to the Messiah because He is the Sovereign Creator of the Seventh Day. Face to Face I Speak With Him Far in advance, it was announced the Messiah would be the Prophet like Mosheh. We are told that hwhy spoke with Mosheh face to face: And hwhy spoke to Mosheh face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant, Yehoshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the Tent. Exodus 33:11 In another place, hwhy indicates that He spoke with Mosheh mouth to mouth:
45

John 1:1-3, Psalm 118:24 > Mark 2:27-28

14

with him I will speak mouth to mouth, even manifestly, and not in dark speeches; and the form of hwhy he shall behold. Wherefore, then, were you not afraid to speak against My servant, against Mosheh? Numbers 12:8 The Hebrew misparim/numbers surrounding the phrase mouth to mouth show us still more about hwhy speaking to His people in the light of His Presence placed within the Shabbat:

Presently, we only provide comments on a few of the numbers seen above. Note that I speak adds to 27 (pv) and 207 (mv); these are the very same numbers seen in the Hebrew word for light:

(pv) (mv)

27 = (20) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

207 = (200) r + (6) w + (1) a = rwa = ur = light

When hwhy speaks, we know that only light comes forth.46 The phrase, Mouth to mouth I speak with him, has a place value of 92 and shows us more of the nearness we have with hwhy and His Ruach on the Seventh Day. Since the place value for the entire phrase is 92, we are specifically brought back, once more, to Tehillim/Psalm 92 and the Shabbat which Mosheh upheld as a major forerunner of the Messiah. Increasing spiritual light and understanding comes to those who uphold the Shabbat. The Light of His Presence given to those who honor/uphold the Shabbat is essential for any believer who is seeking to walk in the revelation hwhy imparts in the Spirit to those who obey Him.47 Having the light of Shabbat shining upon His Word explains, once more, why those who honor the Seventh Day are blessed with such a significant portion of the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him.48 This obedience is a major key to gaining the fullest possible understanding of the Word of hwhy. hwhy would not have spoken with Mosheh in an intimate fashion if the prophet had been spurning the Seventh Day. Yet while hwhy spoke with Mosheh face to face and mouth to mouth, Yochanan tells us no man has seen the Father at any time.49 However, His only begotten Son has beheld the Face of the Father. Thus, while the face of Mosheh shined from dwelling in His Presence, the entire being of the Messiah

emanated with blinding light. The Messiah was the Light of the Shabbat Presence in the Flesh; He was the Chesed and Truth of hwhy in the Flesh. And when the Messiah asserted the Shabbat was made for man/Adam50 we believe He knew the number connection now shown just below. In Hebrew, the misparim value for Mda/Adam/man is 45:

(mv)

45 = (40) M + (4) d + (1) a = Mda = Mda/Adam/man

While we have seen the misparim for tbS/Shabbat equals 702, remember the place value for the Seventh Day was shown to be 45:
(pv)

45 = (22) t + (2) b + (21) S = tbS = Shabbat

So there is a direct number connection between Adam/man (45) and the Shabbat (45). How much more evident could it be that the Shabbat was made for man/Adam? And is it any wonder, then, that the One who calls Himself the Sovereign of the Shabbat (45)51 is also called by Shaul the Last Adam (45) and a Life-Giving Spirit? So also it is written, The first man, Adam, became a living soul. The Last Adam is a lifegiving Spirit. 1Corinthians 15:45 The Last Adam, the Messiah, fully upheld the sanctity of the Seventh Day. And His Life-Giving Spirit will empower and enlighten all those who honor the Day over which He will always be the Sovereign.52 The Shabbat: Times of Refreshing From the Presence of hwhy When speaking to all Yisrael of the risen Messiah, the apostle Kepha/Peter spoke what must be one of my favorite texts: 19 Repent, therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, that so there may come times of refreshing from the Presence of hwhy 20 and that He may send the Messiah who has been appointed for you, even eSwhy Acts 3:19-20 As we walk by the Spirit, we so often enjoy the reality of this Scripture: hwhy is so blessed to send forth times of refreshing from His Presence, if we are willing to accept and abide in the rest He gives. For those who uphold and honor the Shabbat, such rest and such times of refreshing will be known and experienced on a continual basis. Not coincidentally, the place value (pv) of the phrase from the Presence of hwhy adds to 92:

We pray this study helps any New Covenant believer in the Messiah to realize that all who are subjects of the Saviors Melchizedek Priesthood will embrace, uphold, and love the Shabbat Day over which He still rules as Sovereign and that you will know the times of refreshing that come forth from His Presence on the Seventh Day. Summary The Melchizedek Priesthood of the Messiah and High Priest upholds the Seventh Day Shabbat. Mosheh was a prophetic forerunner of the Melchizedek High Priest, the Messiah eSwhy. When properly understood, the Hebrew misparim/numbers really are the Commentary of hwhy over His Eternal Word. These numbers are unarguably Inspired and are intended to leave the people of the Most High overwhelmed and standing in awe of a loving and all-knowing, all-powerful Creator. We pray this meditation, as well as this entire series of articles, will reveal the greatness of hwhy and His Messiah to all Yisrael and to all the world.

We believe most copyrights have been abused worldwide in religious circles as false shepherds and other merchants feed on the sin of the people.
