Year 3 in institute Activity Description A) Attended Catia workshop organised in college by Learnt useful tools in 3D modeling. TATA & Dassault Systems in collaboration. B) Participated in SAEINDIA SUPRA 2012 competition. Participated in the competition held in September 2012 in Budha International Circuit, Greater Noida. C) Designed & manufactured off-road vehicle. A) Handled powertrain system of the car in a team of 4 members. 1. Designed transmission system consisting of a gearbox (Mahindra Gio,selected after calculations based on given engine characteristics & desired performance of vehicle) & a CVT. 2. Fabricated dismountable transmission sub-frame. 3. Designed & manufactured paddle assembly of the vehicle. B) Fabricated space-frame chassis of the vehicle.
