Breakthroughs
Easy to use
Intuitive and simple user interface (3 steps to define a structure) Save 40% on initial Design of Main Tooling Structure Save 70% when modifying Main Tooling Structure An important step towards the PPR model Job-oriented application Assembly/disassembly Installation/Removal
Enhanced Concurrent Engineering & Tool Modification Improve operational procedures Ability to maintain associativity relative to compartment boundaries and other features Conceptual Objects used to create Functional Objects and Information can be extracted to drive the Functional Design Integration with Knowledgeware to improve design quality and reliability

Customer Pains
As Structure Contractors we are dealing with huge amount of structure parts therefore we cannot accurately predict future costs and are submitting bids based on guestimates.; As Fabricators we cannot directly use geometry product models, and, instead, must recreate data in a format they can use; We only have enough time to try one or two different variations of a part so we have to overdesign; We are making design decisions without a full understanding of the impact on other systems or adjacent components; Our development cycle is considerably too long which causes us to lose some important customer contracts; We spend more time translating and preparing data rather than analyzing and investigating newer and better designs; Since our design and fabrication procedures are quiet specialized we cant afford the time to optimize our designs;
