Over the years in having created a website http://www.ordnancevietnam.raaoc.asn.au for all Ordnance diggers who served during the Vietnam War, 1964 to 1972, I have managed to collect and design all sorts of trivia which I will endeavour to share, by creating this permanent record for all of us. A wonderful opportunity to create this ongoing book as Memoires of the series. It goes without saying, that without the support of so many, None of this would have been possible. It is also my opportunity to give thanks and place on record, To all the wonderful folks who have supported me over the years and who enjoy the true spirit of Community mateship, caring and support..

Originally I was going to put a book together dedicated only to the soldiers who served as ordnance during the vietnam war.. However, over the years i have come to realise, that the bigger picture involves so many. It is the family, mates and supporters who kept so many of us strong and gave us the hope and inspiration to keep going and in many cases, stay alive.. For me personally, this has become a huge focus, to recognise And highlight, just how important these wonderful people were then and in every aspect, still are today. This also became one of the motivating factors in the relaunching of the AODX Coastline Guardian 1964 1972 News Update. Here was the opportunity to show our appreciation and to promote and highlight an interactive community of family, mates and supporters Thereby i am pleased to announce that the contents of my book more ammo will include post-war content and where possible, the AODX Coastline Guardian 1964 1972 News Update will become an integral part of the book with ongoing content.
