ABSTRACT Job satisfaction is an important aspect for an organizations success. A successful organization is the one with satisfied workers. This research report tries to find out the main factors of job satisfaction and whether they have any impact on the job satisfaction of the employee of DIRD GROUP. First we have identified the factors of job satisfaction through a literature review of various articles related to Job satisfaction. Factors which have been found are communication with the management, the employees relationship with his/her immediate supervisor, job security, benefits and compensation and career development and opportunity. Then to analyze the affect of the factors a quantitative research was done. A questionnaire consists of 12 questionnaire was developed to conduct survey over the employee of the DIRD Group. The sample size of the employee is 30. The employees have been selected through probabilistic sampling more specifically random sampling. After conducting pretest the main survey was done. The survey result has been analyzed by using SPSS 10. To analyze the result first a reliability test was done to know the value Cronbach's (alpha) which is measurement of internal consistency. The value of Cronbach's (alpha) which ranges from point 0.5896 to 0.7967. Then after measuring the mean value of the variables, a regression analysis was conducted to know the affect of factors on the job satisfaction of the employee of Dird Group. The result founds The result indicates that four out of five factors (Benefits and compensation, Relationship with supervisor, communication, job security) have significant influence on Job satisfaction. Only Career Development did not show any significant influence on job satisfaction. The value of R Square is found .507. That means, independent variable (Career Development, Benefits and compensation, Relationship with supervisor, communication, job security) has 50% impact over the dependent variable (Job Satisfaction). In other words, the dependent variable (Job Satisfaction) is influenced 507% by the independent variable (Career Development, Benefits and compensation, Relationship with supervisor, communication, job security). As the R2(.507), is found comparatively low which suggest other factors can also influence the Job Satisfaction. Further study should include other factors except those we consider here. Also as career development is rejected in this study so further research should focus into career development to find out the reasonable outcome. (iii)
