THE WHEN AND THE WHERE:

We are so excited that you have registered for the Best YSA Convention ever and hope that you will have a great time with us. The following pages contain a list of what to and not to bring, also attached are some rules we would like you to adhere to. As you know Convention will be from the Friday the 27th of September until Sunday the 29th of September 2013. Here are some important times to take not of in advance: Friday 27 September 2013 Sign in and Room allocations: From 14h00 until 20:00 Sunday 29 September 2013 Lunch will be served at round 13h00 after which participants will have free time or they can depart home, we need leave the venue by 16h00.

All other Scheduling matters will be handled on the day, so come and spend a weekend awayto Eternity and Beyond Looking forward to see you there The Convention Team

WHAT TO BRING ON CONVENTION:


Scriptures Journal Pen Outfit for Super hero Dance Church Clothes Umbrella or rain gear Sunhat / Cap Sunscreen Water Bottle Old clothing (Clothes you dont mind getting mud on) Running or Walking Shoes Torch (extra Batteries) Swimming Clothes Own Medication Insect Repellent (optional) Rain Coat Warm Jacket or Tracksuit Pocket Money Music Instrument (optional) Towel and Toiletries Own Bedding (pillow, Sleeping Bag)

KONKA RULES FOLLOWING ITEMS ARE NOT ALLOWED. ANY PERSON NOT ABIDING BY THE RULES WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE THE FARM IMMEDIATELY: 1. Cigarettes 2. Alcohol 3. Forbidden Drugs 4. Weapons Please note that Konka provides the following: Cutlery and crockery.

SOME RULES:
DRESS STANDARD All grooming and apparel should be neat, clean and modest. Examples of modesty and appropriateness are clearly taught in the For the Strength of Youth. Casual Clothing means: Neat, clean and modest clothing including jeans, long shorts and shirts with sleeves for men and women. Casual shoes, flip-flops and sports shoes are acceptable. Shoulders, back, cleavage and midriff are to be covered. Short shorts and mini-skirts are not acceptable.

Smart Casual means: Neat clean clothing including jeans, slacks (for men and women) dress and skirts (for women) and collared shirts (for men). Casual shoes and tekkies are acceptable (no flip-flops). Shoulders, back, cleavage and midriff are to be covered. Mini-skirts, shorts and un-ironed clothing are not acceptable.

Formal means: Men Collared shirt and tie (done up), Suit coat/jacket is preferred, dress slacks no jeans. Dress shoes no tekkies. Women Evening dress. Shoulders, back, cleavage and midriff are to be covered. Dress shoes (high heeled or flat), no sport shoes or trousers/pants.

BEHAVIOR We recognize and celebrate the cultural diversity of all attending Convention. The following policies (some of which are required by the venue, or in consideration of them) have been put in place with respect to behavior: All YSA are to follow the direction of the Priesthood leaders and Convention committee members at all times. No men may be in or near the ladies dorms and no ladies may be in or near the mens dorms at any time. Absolutely no alcohol, smoking or non-prescription drugs on the premises at any time. Anyone affected by or using these substances will be excluded from any further participation. All persons are to be treated with respect and dignity. Swearing and coarse language offends the speaker, the hearer and the spirit and is unacceptable on any occasion. We encourage all to have adequate sleep so they can enjoy Convention and all activities. Those who wish to stay awake all night may do so, in the designated areas.

Anyone not abiding by these rules will be asked to leave without a refund.
