Let us Take Special Cases!
Most of the Arabic Verbs are made of 3
:root letters, such as

‫فتح‬
‫نصر‬
‫ضرب‬
‫سمع‬

 If one of these 3 letters is:

‫و‬ as in َ‫ وَلَد‬،َ‫وَعَد‬
or ‫ی‬ as in ‫ هَدَى‬،‫رضي‬
or ‫ا‬ as in ‫ كان‬،‫قال‬

then… weak words are formed

 Weak Letters
Weak or ‘sick’ letters (‫) حروف علت‬. Why ‘sick’ (‫(? عِلَة‬

Because the sounds of these 3 letters are that of a

sick person!! (ooo!, aaa!, eee!).

They are weak because they get ‫و‬

‘tired’.

The Prophet (PBUH) said,

"The one who was devoted to the Qur'an

will be told on the Day of Resurrection:

`Recite and ascend (in ranks) as you

used to recite when you were in the
world. Your rank will be at the last Ayah
you recite”.

[Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi].

worldly ‘house’ with…
The Eternal Promotion!

 Which is more important?????

 What do we want……????

 Worldly
house OR
PALACE in Jannah….!!!!!

 For a house in this world….

Most of us work for years to save money

to build a house in this world!

When the house gets ready, people cross

their middle age (and some even die
before they ‘enter’ it.)

And we know that we will not live in such
a house forever!

The longer we live, comes the old age

with many problems….

For an eternal Palace THERE…

Devote yourself to Qur’an

i.e.,recite, understand,
implement, memorize,
propagate, etc. as much as
possible,
to get eternally promoted
and live in the best state of
health and facilities.

 But we are busy!!!

We are BUSY for a house in this world

and for reading and understanding
Quran we say “WE ARE BUSY”….

Should we not GET BUSY for eternal

promotion and the real enjoyment? All
it takes is the change in our attitude
towards Al-Qur’an.
