Your Neighborhood. Your Market.

Thursdays, 2:30-6:30pm June 20 thru October 31 230 Bowdoin Street, Dorchester

Its hard to believe that its already the end of September, but here we are! The full bounty of fall will be at todays market where the harvesting season is at its prime! Our fall favorites are coming back from the dark, leafy greens that love the crisp nighttime temperatures to the hard-skinned squashes and pumpkins perfect for roasting or making colorful and hearty soups. Weve got a fabulous array of fish and seafood today from Reds Best Seafood and Jo-Ann Winbush is back with her beautiful jewelry. We also wish a fond farewell today to City Harvest Farm as this is their last day at the market this season. In their third season here at the BGFM, they have again brought fabulous produce and fantastic youth with them to the market each week and we very much look forward to seeing them in June 2014! And as the season draws to a close, were beginning to reflect on the 2013 season and gearing up to plan for next year. Please contribute your thoughts by filling out our online customer survey or by popping by the market managers stand during the market for a paper version. Next week, we begin our late season schedule with a 6pm end time.
