Perform RF design, optimization and other RF related service activities for wireless networks (GSM and WCDMA,EVDO,LTE).

He should be familiar with RF Basics , RF parameters and Radio features for GSM and WCDMA ,EVDO,LTE. Able to work independently in performing activities. Should be able to communicate and handle Local and Foreign Customer. Should be open to relocate Local or abroad as per Project requirement. Responsibilities and Tasks: * * RF Link budgets designing * Geo-data (maps, land-use, design polygons, etc) * Neighbor planning * Liaison with other teams both in and out of the region on issues relating to network planning & Optimization * Liaison with other teams to get a trigger for design & planning the network after all optimization techniques have exhausted * Extensive use of the Planning tools to select site location, azimuth and tilt etc * interpreting the design criteria and running prediction based models using planning tools, working to a site nominal plan * Regular report production for a variety of planning related activities including project feasibility studies and justifications * To support the Project Managers" dealing with network rollout activities, for example complex upgrades, site moves and special events * To propose change in site design to meet customers requirement * Running calculations to interpret resource requirement for capacity congestion relief working to the 2% GOS Erlang B table. * Channel Dimensioning: Future planning proposal to customer as per subscriber forecast * Maintaining planning tool projects in healthy & updated state * Bulk data loading on network databases to support RAN planning * Planning consultancy: A comprehensive knowledge of hardware and software features and constraints for GRAN/WRAN * Ability to collect and analyze data from the GRAN/WRAN networks to resolve problems and make recommendations for improving QoS * Ability to analyze air interface signaling to help resolve problems and make recommendations for improving QoS * Ability to deliver innovative solutions to challenging problems * Drive recommendations for changes to the physical and parametric configuration of cells Counter analysis and understanding * Good knowledge on GRAN/WRAN Radio parameters and timers * Working knowledge of MapInfo * Data throughput optimization for GRAN/WRAN * Good knowledge on Neighbor relations and analysis * Good knowledge in BSS parameters and GRAN/WRAN features * Parameter audit and report preparation * Analysis of drive test data and recommendation * Good working knowledge in MS Excel and MS Access * Good exposure to Multivendor Product portfolio, Multivendor Features and Radio parameter related to Air Interface and Multivendor Optimization techniques and Tools. * Performance and root cause analysis of the air interface * GRAN/WRAN network environment and radio knowledge * Cell Optimization techniques * Production of CSV files for creation of DT for new 3G sites * Exposure to tools like TEMS, ACTIX, BO etc * Exposure to tools like Traffica, Metrica, NetAct, Enterprise. * Improve cells on following KPIs: RRC attempts, RRC Failures, CS/PS RAB attempts, CS/PS RAB failures, DCR, CSTR, SHO attempts/failures, HS attempts, HS retain ability failure rate, HS accessibility failure rate.
