In order to gain more knowledge on our beloved own country Malaysia , we have done research on the concept of the

e 1 Malaysia . Through this idea, we understand the 8 values introduced which are a culture of excellence, perseverance , acceptance, loyalty, education, humility, integrity, and meritocracy . This is what we learn from each of the value : EDUCATION Education and knowledge are important prerequisites for us to succeed and throughout history we've realized that the only empires that have survived are the empires of the mind, particularly in the present context. what we can do is to ensure that there are opportunities for us is that even if we are all physically different, but if we are imbued with the same value system, hopefully at some point in time, we will converge. When we converge, in the physical sense, we will be able to appreciate each other better.

MERITOCRACY By and large, meritocracy is not only a noble principle, but a necessary principle for us to go forward to greater heights. So if we have an idea then we're given that opportunity. But in fact, looking back it's better for us to have identified certain services or certain areas that we want to privatize and open it up for bidding. With the appropriate knowledge and abilities that we have to apply to the best area and education path, we may can create a meritocracy in future.

LOYALTY I think loyalty is important because it is a cornerstone of trust. In any relationship, loyalty is important. As a friend, for example, you're loyal to your friend, because if you're loyal to your friend, it develops trust. It is a personal bond between you and the other person. But I would define loyalty as something which should not be taken to the extreme where it's blind loyalty. So we be loyal to every people around us and also to our own country.

ACCEPTANCE Acceptance in the sense that you are ready to accept things. If youre willing to accept things, if you embrace things willingly, then I think your capacity to look at things in a more positive manner is much better than mere tolerance. We think thats important because then you dont have any baggage and youre not weighed down by any negative pre-conceived notions and youre willing to look at the best the person can offer. So we learn to accept all the people around us, accept their weaknesses, different background and everything in their personalities.

HUMILITY

I think humility is an important trait to have. To be humble basically is an asset because in our society, especially in our traditional society, they tend to appreciate people who exhibit the trait of being humble. It also the asset of our country. So with this value, we know that in order to maintain a good relationship with the people around, we must be humble with the truly hearts and mind. PERSEVERANCE Life is never easy. One should expect that life is a series of ups and downs. All we have to do is be perseverance in every work and mind we did. It's may a kind of a burden because you always have to prove yourself that you deserve it. And we may always been conscious of the fact that we needed to show that we could do the job, and do it well. So we needed to be more creative, needed to approach things differently, and that has produced the incredible change and improvement, a massive improvement.

A Culture of Excellence

That was the starting point to realize how important it is to succeed and to do well in everything that you undertake. Succeed is the point that could change our lifestyle and how we life on. To succeed, we must understand well and do many hard works on it. So we will do our best in every works we carry out now and future with truly hearts and effort. INTEGRITY

Through this value, we understand that we must tell the truth and trust people. That the people are intelligent, that the people will appreciate honesty and truthfulness and engage and communicate with each other . Over a period, certainly you will be able to develop that faith and trust with the people. Above all, keep your word. If you promise, you must deliver. One of the things that can undermine this faith and loyalty is if you break your promise. If you promise something, you must stick to your promise and you must deliver your promise.

After done on this research, we understand strongly the concept of 1 Malaysia that our beloved Dato Seri Najib Tun Razak emphasis on. Through this, we may learn the 8 values and will apply them in life. We realize the hardwork done by him on our multi-national country to be a peaceful and harmony Malaysia. Other than that, we understand too the bases of One Malaysia. There are few main basic of One Malaysia that we need to understand fully. The application of unity cores. This is as the part of culture and habit of Malaysians. These unity cores are the basic components that strengthen the spirit of unity among various races in Malaysia. This unity core is supported by moral values that should underlie Malaysian lifestyle. The application of aspiration values. Aspiration values that are stated in One Malaysia concept is the values that should exist that will drive our country towards achieving developed country status. These aspiration values help in producing citizens who are able to compete efficiently in global surrounding, which could help in increasing our countrys economical health.

Other than that, we know the benefits that we can found along this concept. By this, we may come in mind that all races should living together hand-in-hand in harmony. So we may try to be tolerance, understand and accept each other although we all are different among each other in all aspects. Through this too, we know that it is important that unity is very important in order to gain to develop our own country. We also understand objectives and direction well on 1 Malaysia idea. 1Malaysias goal is to preserve and enhance this unity which has always been our strength and remains our best hope for the future helps to terminate any bad perspective and reunite the human races in Malaysia. Nowadays, certain of Malaysian citizens sort themselves according by their races. Thus, it will lacerate the solidarity and create a gap between races. Furthermore, some of our people are only socialize with their own race and they were unlikely to be friendly to the other races. Therefore there is a creation and idea of 1 Malaysia by our beloved existing prime minister. He hope that this can pull all the gaps nearer and to inculcate the spirit and togetherness and sense of belonging, regardless of race, religion and creed.

As a conclusion, we are strongly agree and support with this idea of One Malaysia, and we as the citizens of Malaysia need to unite and become one in order to achieve One Malaysia, thus leading our beloved motherland towards peaceful, harmony, unity and integration among all different kind of races and ethnics in Malaysia
