Rationale
The approach to this identity is to bring the MCF logo into modern times but keep it elegant and professional. The existing identity is too boxy and old fashioned; the combination of lines, curves, and colors in the new identity introduces a more modern element to the logo. A revamp of the existing blue, the color was chosen to inject life, freshness, and modernity to the identity. The color represents hope, honesty, and a brighter future. The symbol created is an abstract representation of the megaphone already present within the existing identity. The megaphone symbolizes the foundation as a media organization that aims to raise the voices of embattled journalists, activists, and students who wish to promote welfare, democracy, and unity in the region.

Rationale

The approach to this identity was to keep it completely separate from the MCF identity, but also be able to work harmoniously together. The choice of typeface and color are different yet complementary. The symbol for the Media Communication Facilities was created to highlight the importance of making connections and having a well-rounded approach to communication. This logo also uses a sans-serif modern typeface that is strong, bold, and expressive, emphasizing the core qualities of Media Communication Facilities. The letters of the acronym are connected and encapsulated within a perfect circle, which represents the global and holistic approach that this organization uses to service its clients. The red color represents energy, courage, and strength, reflecting the importance of the organizations work and the power it has to create change.
