The Trinity Rev 9-Jul-09

The "Doctrine of the Holy Trinity" has changed the concept of the pure
monotheism, held by the seed of Israel, to a triune God concept adopted by the
greater majority of the Christian Church roughly three hundred years after Jesus
Christ was taken up and seated at the right hand of The Father. This doctrine,
IMHO, was nothing less than simply creating another "elohiym" often translated as
"false or strange god/gods”, of the OT Hebrew text. I'm certain that God did not
overlook this change, and Christianity has been paying the price for their
carelessness towards the only Supreme, Most High God, who's name is pronounced
as Yahuah by some, and Jehovah/Yehovah by others, or even other variations of
these. Evidence to this is obvious to even the casual thinkers regarding Christianity,
and can be understood by most Christians, if they will only be sincere to themselves.
I’m convinced that The Elohiym of Elohiym, The El of Elohiym and El of El, all
translated to “God of gods”, carelessly translated by the Septuagint Greek text, has
not taken lightly this apathetic view, which evolved simply from overlooking certain
scripture that contradict this view. This is more than evidenced by the divisions and
apparent weakness of the Holy Spirit’s presence in today's Church. Therefore
Christians, believe what Jesus taught, believe in his Father's words, combat bible
contradictions and get back to basics.

Legend: My words are in bold blue, [my entries], Christ' words are in red, Words in
black are text lifted from reference material. Caps, boldfaced type and/or underlining
are my personal added emphasis. Numbers, preceded with the letters "H" or "G",
represent the Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance reference numbers.

To begin with, let me state that, in my humble opinion, there is a Trinity, comprising
of, The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit, when referring to the authority of the
Church, or the spiritual connection of these three entities, but this is not the trinity
of three persons. Ref:

2 Corinthians 13:14 (KJV) The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of
God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.

But to claim that the Holy Spirit is a separate person from the father is to deny that
the spirit that emanates from the Father is not that Holy Spirit. There is also a
trinity in the composition of any person, such as having body, soul and spirit (1Th
5:23). However, the concepts expressed by the suggestions held within the "Doctrine
of the Holy Trinity", has always posed a problem for many believers in Jesus Christ.
I too have been affronted with the same problem, and I conclude that whereas there
is at least a trinity with God, Jesus is not God junior nor God made man. The
Trinity (three persons, one God; or one person, three different manifestations)
under the godhead, comprised of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit is not
exactly scriptural and a common plus correct understanding of God and his Christ
is lacking in today's Christian teachings. Scripture reads: 1 Cor 8:6 "yet for us there
is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there
is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live".
[Jesus speaking about that one God says this:]

Mark 10:18 And Jesus said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none
good but one, that is, God. [This agrees with Lk 18:19 and Matt 19:17]

And this: John 14:28 (KJV) ”Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go
away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice,
because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than
I”. [This is a direct contradiction to the equality of the
three persons of the Godhead; especially contrary to the
Athanasian Creed.]

The idea that there are three persons in one god, or that there is one god in three
persons is still argued amongst Christians of different denominations. Whereas the
"Doctrine of the Trinity" is accepted by the greatest number of Christians, the
confusion that surrounds this idea erodes or undermines the basic principle of the
supremacy of the one and only YHWH. Ref: Psa 144:15 Happy is that people, that is in
such a case: yea, happy is that people, whose God is the LORD/YHWH & Psa 33:12
[Can one simply ignore these verses?] The truth is that the person of Jesus has been
given the authority and position as God's promised Messiah in our "Lord Jesus"
with the main purpose or mission of leading our souls to God our Father and to our
personal Salvation. The Messiah of the OT scripture was never considered as God
by the Jews but rather as Prophet, priest, and King. But when a lawyer of the
Pharisees tried tempting him, with a question on the Law, asked: "which is the great
commandment in the law?"

Mat 22:37-38 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great
commandment. [If we were to refer to the original Hebrew text for this verse
we would discover that the words used were “Yahuah Elohiym” for "the
Lord thy God". It is well known that the Hebrews of the OT era, for the
greater part (up until the 5th century BC), had no problems in there
understanding God as one individual personality.]

If this be the case, why is it apparently misunderstood by most Christian leaders? At

the time of Christ's teachings, there was nothing taught of any such Trinity. Here is
just another small example of misunderstanding Jesus as being God. When Jesus
was on the cross, he made a simple statement in these words: "My God, my God,
why hast thou forsaken me"? Ref Mat 27:46. Even if one doesn't understand exactly
what this verse really means, the situation paints a rather clear picture that Jesus is
calling out to his God in his agony. Now either this verse is corrupt or one is
spiritually blind if they cannot discern this relationship between Jesus and God in
that historic moment. But this is only one of a few dramatic moments in the life of
Jesus that is graphically represented in scripture and rather easily understood by a
spirit discerning person. So what or where then is the problem? There should be no
doubt about it that the imagination of man has led to this following verse that I have
taken from The Jerusalem Bible [Doubleday 1966].

Rom 1:22-23 "The more they called themselves philosophers, the more stupid they grew
until they exchanged the glory of the immortal God for a worthless imitation, for the
image of mortal man (the Trinity is an example), of birds, of quadrupeds and reptiles".
[This exchange of God seen as man and man seen as God is what I am talking
about.]

This invention of the Trinity of God, as spelled out in the "Doctrine of the Holy
Trinity", is a mirror image of what happened to man of the Old Testament era.

Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither
were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was
darkened.

I doubt that anyone of average intelligence in our world has trouble understanding
the relationship between a father and his son. The idea of being subordinate to the
father, or obedient to his commands, respective of his judgment etc., are all traits
that a loving son would demonstrate as did Jesus. And we also have testimony in our
bible that witness to this fact. But the "doctrine of the Trinity" undermines this
reality, in effect eliminating this father and son relationship, declaring them both co-
equal in every sense of the word. (Have a look at the Athanasian Creed which states:
"And in this Trinity none is afore or after Other, None is greater or less than
Another, but the whole Three Persons are Co-eternal together, and Co-equal"). This
is a far cry from Jesus being known as a priest, prophet, servant, King, governor,
Son of David, & Son of Man, and above all, "Son of God". Scripture reads: John
10:29 "My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all" etc. Here is what was
understood by the immediate followers and apostles of the early Church:

2 John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from
the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. [It appears quite
clear to me regarding the distinction between the Father who is God, and
Jesus who is the son of God.]

Another problem that the interpreters injected into our scriptures, regarding this
trinity, is the use of the word “LORD” or “Lord” when referring to the Father or to
the son. First off, at one point in time Jesus was made both Lord and Christ (Acts
2:36). Before that YHWH, the Father was Lord. So when someone refers to Jesus
Christ, he is the Lord (1Cor 8:6). In the OT, The LORD, a substitute word for
YHWH, creates confusion between the Father and the son for in the original
Hebrew text there is no definite article “the”. So therefore YHWH was Lord, with
no competition then, just as there is only one Lord for the Christians in Jesus Christ,
and no competition, now.
Of course there are some verses that indicate rather strongly that Jesus is God, but
these verses are IMHO, simply interpretation or translation errors (from the LXX
for example) that were introduced by translators not necessarily under the influence
of the Holy Spirit. Here is just one of these examples:

John 20:28 (KJV) And Thomas answered and said unto him (Jesus), My Lord
and my God. [The question here is: Which of the three main words in the
Aramaic/Hebrew language was used here by Thomas to indicate “God”. This
is due to the fact that all three Hebrew/Aramaic words are used seemingly
interchangeably in most translations. Did he use el, elohiym, or elowahh?
See Jn 10:34-35. Jesus surely qualifies for the title “elohiym/God” as used in
Psa 82:6 to describe all of the children of the Most High. John offers us the
proper interpretation quoted by Jesus on the matter. Jesus says: “If he
(YHWH) called them gods/elohiym, unto whom the word of God came, etc.”
surely Jesus was/is qualified for the title “elohiym”.]

Therefore, here are my arguments:

The scriptures reads: (And the scripture cannot be broken)!

Mal 2:10 KJV "Have we not all one father? Hath not one God (el/H410) created
us?

1 Pet 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which
according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the
resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, [Peter's teaching. Therefore,
according to me, Jesus has a God who is his father, and if you do not have
Jesus (son of Man) as the son, there is a good chance that you do not have
YHWH God as the Father either. See Jn 20:17]

Luke 1:32-33 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the
Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign
over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. [This
seems to place a limit on his realm or Kingdom, in contrast to that of Yahuah
God's which extends to the outer limits of the universe.]

2 Cor 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of
mercies, and the God of all comfort; [Paul's teaching that The Father is God]

Acts 5:30 The God of our fathers raised up Jesus, whom ye slew and hanged on a
tree. Him hath God exalted with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, for to
give repentance to Israel, and forgiveness of sins. [Jesus as a Prince and Savior
doesn't have to be God to fulfill this purpose.]
2 Cor 5:18 And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus
Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; [God is the source of
"All things"]

1 Sam 3:21 And the LORD/YHWH appeared again in Shiloh: for the
LORD/YHWH revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the
LORD/YHWH. This agrees with the following: For: John 1:1 In the beginning
was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. [1 Sam 3:1
And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD before Eli. And the word/dabar
of the LORD was precious in those days; there was no open vision. [The term
"word or words of the LORD" is used roughly 271 times in the OT (KJV)
And is speaking strictly of God’s/Yahuah's words.]

1 Tim 6:15-16 "Which in his times he[Jesus] shall show, who is the blessed and
only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;[Here, the writer is saying
that, Jesus will reveal his Father (God) IMHO] Who only hath immortality,
dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen,
nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen." [On the other
hand Jesus Christ was seen by thousands, and will be seen in the future.
Therefore we can conclude that Jesus was not "God" as the Father is God.
He remains mediator between Mankind and God The Father.] 1 Tim 2:5 KJV
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ
Jesus;" [This is what was understood by the first century Christian students
regarding the teachings about the Christ.]

1 Cor 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his
own power. [Because we are sons] So, 1 John 3:2-3 "Beloved, now are we the
sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when
he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. And every man
that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure". [It is not likely
that we will be God as in the Doctrine of the Trinity, as if Jesus were God the
Son.]

Heb 2:10-11 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all
things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation
perfect through sufferings. For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified
are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren, [It seems
quite clear that Jesus is on an equal level as a brother to mankind rather
than God who made Jesus the "Captain" of our Salvation.]

Mark 14:36 And he (Jesus) said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee;
take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
[This indicates that all things are possible for the Father only, and that he
(Jesus) should do the will of the Father's, so therefore subordinate to the
Father, as would a good son be. This is another example of one of those
dramatic moments that can easily and plainly be understood regarding the
relationship between the Father and his Son.]

Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved
of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in
the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: [Peter's teaching.]

1 Cor 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and
the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. [So therefore,
Jesus is not equal to the Father.]

1 John 5:10-12 He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in himself:
he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he believeth not the
record that God gave of his Son. And this is the record, that God hath given to us
eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that
hath not the Son of God hath not life. ["God gave his Son". The "Son" is the
important link between God and mankind.]

Rev 1:4-5 (KJV) “John to the seven churches which are in Asia:
Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was,
and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are
before his throne; And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful
witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the
kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from
our sins in his own blood,

Rev 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and
strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the
accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and
night. [So therefore, the Kingdom is God's as the Christ is God's, so they are
not equal.]

Rev 7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our
God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. [God is
seen distinct from the lamb in this verse.]

John 14:28 You heard me say to you, 'I go away, and I will come to you.' If you
loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is
greater than I. [That the Father is greater than the son, So therefore, when
Jesus prays, he prays to one greater than himself, therefore, Jesus is not
equal to the Father. Plus, one must pray to God the Father only. Ref Mat 6:6;
Luke 11:1]

John 10:29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is
able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. I and my Father are one. [The Father
is greater than all, and Jesus is one with the Father as a man is made one
with his wife in matrimony by a spiritual link.]

Mark 13:31-32 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass
away. But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are
in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. [So therefore Jesus is not all
knowing/omniscient as is the Father]

Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the
LORD/YHWH do all these things. [Yehovah is God's formal/proper name.]

Acts 7:48-50 Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with
hands; as saith the prophet (Isaiah), Heaven is my throne, and earth is my
footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place
of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things? [This discourse is
clearly indicating and understood that "The Most High" has made
everything, and transcends all of creation. Jesus was born with a
created body as was every other man. However, his person was in
existence before creation, but as a spirit in The Fathers spirit world
IMHO!]

Isa 66:1-2: Thus saith the LORD/Yehovah, The heaven is my

throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye
build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those
things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith
the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and
of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.]

Rom 1:19-20 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for
God hath showed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of
the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: [There is nothing in
the Old Testament about a triune God. These two verses testify against the
Trinity for it was not known in the beginning. The OT makes no mention of
God in three persons. Man can still know God by those things that he has
made. It is the spirit from The Father that was the cause of all things being
created, generated, made, etc.]

Isa 63:11 - 12 (KJV) 11Then he remembered the days of old,

Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up
out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that
put his holy Spirit within him? 12That led them by the right hand
of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them,
to make himself an everlasting name? [This is only one of the
two times that the expression “holy Spirit” is used in the
OT. The second verse follows: Psa 51:11 Cast me not away
from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.
Therefore, the “Holy Spirit” as a person is strictly an
invention, concocted after Jesus left the scene.]

Isa 42:1 & Mat 12:18 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom
my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment
to the Gentiles. [Jesus is God's servant so therefore subordinate to him. Here
again, please note that, the spirit is presented as a spirit force/power from the
Father, and not another person.]

Heb 12:23-24 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are
written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made
perfect. And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. [Here in this verse is
demonstrated a clear distinction between God and Jesus]

John 8:28 Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man,
then shall ye know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father
hath taught me, I speak these things. [Jesus being subordinate to the father, or
obedient to his commands, respective of his judgment etc.]

Heb 9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal
Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead
works to serve the living God? [Jesus offered himself to God. If he were God,
this verse would then be in error.]

Eph 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give
unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: [Paul's
teaching: The Father is Jesus' God. If Jesus has a God and Jesus was God,
how can this be considered as monotheistic? (unless God is defined as a
species.) This could be the case for the Hebrew term “elohiym” for God.]

Mark 12:32 KJV "And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the
truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:"

1 Cor 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the
last Adam (Jesus Christ) was made a quickening spirit.

Rom 3:30 KJV "Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by
faith, and uncircumcision through faith.

Eph 4:6 KJV "One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in
you all.

Prov 30:5 Every word of God/(elowahh H433) is pure: he is a shield unto them
that put their trust in him. [And the scripture cannot be broken!]
John 4:23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall
worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship
him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in
truth. [Jesus is not the Father and it is the Father that we must worship.]

Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father,
Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and
prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed
good in thy sight.

Acts 17:28 For in him (God) we live, and move, and have our being; as certain
also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. [These are Paul's
words.]

Mat 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father,
which is in heaven. [So therefore, God is our father also. However, all of
mankind must be redeemed and have God's spirit in us, if we are to inherit
Eternal Life.]

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government
shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God (el), The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. [As with all
births, certain characteristics pass from the parents to the offspring through
heredity, so too God's son inherited by heredity, certain characteristics, like
"el" or YHWH's character, his emotions and intellect as the word etc.
Important note: There appears to be a problem in this verse for in verse 7, it
reads: "His authority shall grow continually, and there shall be endless peace for
the throne of David and his kingdom. He will establish and uphold it with justice
and with righteousness from this time onward and forevermore". If this verse is
correct, and Jesus was God, sharing the throne with God the Father on an
equal level, then Jesus Christ must have been demoted to occupy the Throne
of David.]

Col 2:9 For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. [Jesus
seen here as a vessel.]

John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment
is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath
sent me.

Num 23:19 God/el is not a man that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he
should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he
not make it good? [However, Jesus claims both of these titles.]

And the scripture cannot be broken!

Here is my proposal:
The Hebrew language has three main words that indicate God's involvement,
whereas the Greek language has one word only, Theos and it's plural equivalent.
These three main Hebrew words used in the OT are elowahh, el and elohiym. These
are used for God and are grouped together under the OT Godhead. This distinction
as indicated in the Hebrew Old Testament text was practically eliminated by the
Greek interpreters even before the New Testament time, and this, in my humble
opinion, is where all the problems started that led up to the invention of the
"Doctrine of the Trinity", rather than honoring YHWH 'elohiym ( The Lord God)
as the ultimate All in all and above all.

In my opinion, even when the words el, elohiym, and elowahh are used when
referring to YHWH throughout the Old Testament, El and Elohiym have an aspect
distinct one from the other, whereas Elowahh is a word used also as an emphatic
title used in song and poetry. Please refer to the document titled "God" in this index
for a clear understanding of these words.

Here is what the N.T says:

1 Cor 8:4-7 As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice
unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God
but one. "For though there be that are called gods (elohiym), whether in heaven or in
earth, (as there be gods/elohiym many and lords many)". But to us there is but one
God/el, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ,
through (NRSV) whom are all things, and we by him. Howbeit there is not in every man
that knowledge". [As in Mal 2:10 "Have we not all one father? hath not one God/el
created us?]
Luke 4:18-19 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach
the gospel to the poor. He hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance
to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
to preach the acceptable year of the Lord". [Jesus is reading from Isaiah 61:1-2 and
"Lord" is translated from 'adonay:H136 yehovih:H3069 in the Hebrew. This is the
mission and authority that Jesus was to fulfill. So it was God who anointed Jesus.]
The relationship of these two distinct words that are used for God could be
expressed as; El is to Elohiym, as the Christ (The Word) is to the church and as our
soul is to our body with YHWH Elowahh above all. So we have this El and Elohiym
working together as the Godhead in the OT; just as we have Our Lord Jesus Christ
(with YHWH The Father's word) and his Church working together to complete the
process of the metamorphosis of our being with the NT. See the Documents "God"
and "Christ" for clarification on this matter.

Read these following few verses:

John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true
God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. [These are the words of Jesus as
he prays to the Father].

1 Tim 6:16 Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can
approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and
power everlasting. Amen. [This speaking of God the Father who has been
made known by way of the teachings of Jesus Christ.]

1 Tim 1:2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from
God our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord. [These type verses should make it
clear that the Father is the only God. Surely Paul believed and taught this
doctrine.]

2 Cor 1:21 Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us,
is God; [God anoints us "in" JC.]

Psa 45:7 Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy
God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. [If this is
supposed to be addressing Jesus, then note that he is anointed above his
"fellows"; meaning his cohorts/brethren.]

The matter is quite clear to me and unless the Spirit, through Scripture tells me
otherwise, I claim that when all things are made new, Jesus the man will reign on
this earth as the High Priest & King in the New Jerusalem.

1 Cor 15:20-23 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them
that slept. For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his
own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

As for man, being created in the image of God, he is also made as a plural being.
The person is known or thought of as one single individual or as a "living soul".
However, in my opinion, there are two parts to every living person. The physical or
material person, and the soul which is spiritual or of another nature and is to
mature to become the controlling entity of a person; "the hidden man of the heart".
These two entities can become separated sometime after physical death and go their
separate ways. The story of Elijah the Prophet and his widow friend whose son had
just died, has this to say: (after taking the dead child from the widow and taking the
child to his room in the loft provided by the widow and laid him upon his bed)

1 Ki 17:21-22 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the
LORD, and said, O LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.
And the LORD heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again,
and he revived.
As for the Holy Spirit, as the third person of the Trinity, can you tell me his name?
Where is his place on the Throne? Does he not proceed from the Father?

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how
much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

IMHO, the Holy Spirit is God's outward expression of his will and character; that
spiritual force that radiates from his total being and that also applies pressures to
accomplish his will.

One of the confusing concepts of the Holy Spirit is that, with the Doctrine of the
Holy Trinity, the HS is presented as a person. This idea was derived at by the fact
that scripture indicates that he speaks and teaches and therefore, by man's
reasoning, he must be a person. But we can not deny that the dumb Ass spoke to the
prophet Balaam, nor can we say that God spoke in ancient Hebrew when he said,
"Let there be light".
The Holy Spirit is that force that comes from the Father and is contained in his
words and works and is hidden from those who are not spiritually discerning.
What's more, Jesus always admitted that the words he spoke were not his words but
the father's. This holds true for the miracles that Jesus performed also.
John 12:49-50 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he
gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I
know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore,
even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
John 14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which
ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.
John 10:38 But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may
know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. [There should be no
doubt in that God was in Jesus, but that does not make him God as the
Father is God].
John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I
in you. [Nor does this make us the Christ].
Is the Holy Spirit a person?
Mat 1:18 Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother
Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with
child of the Holy Ghost/Spirit.??? [Mary did not have an intimate relationship
with another person.]

According to me, the idea of the Holy Spirit being a "separate person" creates
another problem, such as contradicting scripture. Read these next three verses.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost/spirit, whom the Father
will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your
remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. [This verse identifies the Holy
Spirit as coming from the Father and being sent in Jesus' name. So the Holy
Spirit is with Jesus and those who "believe" in this Christ also.]
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the
Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify
of me: [Here Jesus has power to send the Holy Spirit that is in him. However,
it comes from the Father in this verse. Here, the Comforter is identified as
the "Spirit of Truth".]

Acts 5:3-4 But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the
Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained,
was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why
hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto
God. [Therefore lying to the Holy Spirit is exactly the same thing as lying to
God.]

Therefore, when we understand that the Holy Spirit is our comforter and that he
proceeds from the Father, it is easier to understand how man is made in God's
image. For man has a spirit also. Only it is not yet very "Holy".

John 14:17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it
seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you,
and shall be in you.

The major problem with the Trinity is not just the confusion that it creates,
which tends to weaken ones faith, but now we have another problem and that
is regarding God's mother. This doctrine of the Trinity has spawned a greater
problem in the invention of a "Queen of Heaven", making her now the co-
Redemptrix (co-redeemer), putting Jesus on nearly an equal level as she,
almost implying, as Son, he is obliged to respect his mother's wishes. But this
is all together another huge problem for Christianity. She/The Queen of
Heaven (not Mary The mother of our Lord Jesus), has already stolen the
"Immaculate Conception", initially thought of as that of Jesus'. Another
problem that stems from this confusion is seen in the reciting of the Church
Creed. With the Trinity, many see Jesus as "The Word" thus Creator.
Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which
from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by
(way of) Jesus Christ: (As The Word)
But at the same time, when they recite the church Creed which most repeat
at just about every formal church meeting, they repeat, "We believe in God
the father Almighty, maker of Heaven and Earth."(this applies to both the
Nicene and Apostle's Creeds). Are we all guilty of hypocrisy and say things
that we don't really believe or are we so careless that we say "Amen" to
words that we don't understand? If you can't agree with my assessment of
the problem, then you are not paying close enough attention. Believe me, we
have a big problem in our Church that Jesus founded and anchored to that
rock that he is: " The Christ, the Son of the living God". To this definition,
given by Peter, (Mat 16:16 & Jn 6:69) and probably only this, all True
Christians, regardless of denominational ties, can be in agreement with.
The point of this whole matter is that many that hold to this "Doctrine of the
Trinity" have not the father nor the son but some strange mixture of the two.
The dangers I see here is that it compromises God's absolute supremacy by
declaring an equality with the Son along with undermining the spirit of
sonship of Jesus as the idea that Christianity was built on. Ref: Mat 16:16
"And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living
God". With this in mind, if someone has the "Son", as the soul/man Jesus or
the Christ as the firstborn spiritual person in God's world before creation, he
has both the father and the son, for someone was responsible for his
conception. With the Trinity, many see God in their mind as a man which
God is not, for he is all and in all;
Num 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he
should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he
not make it good?
And they see Jesus as God, which he is not, for:

1 Tim 1:17 (KJV) Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible,
the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
[Jesus Christ is not invisible, nor the only wise God.]
Col 1:15 "Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature":
[The firstborn as the "Christ" in God's spirit world, and the first "born
again" as was Jesus; that was made the Christ in our material world. Ref
Acts 2:36. Plus, God was never born of any creature, Jesus was.]
And there is but one God, the Father. They also see the Holy spirit as a
person and not a something which he is. When people perceive the Holy
Spirit as a person, they rob themselves of that Spiritual gift which God gives
to all those who want to love him, and that gift is from his self. Perhaps a
more precise graphic view of the relationship between Jesus and God is seen
in:
John 15:11 which reads: Jesus says: "I am the true vine, and my Father is the
husbandman".
Or perhaps:

1 Pet 2:6 "Wherefore also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I lay in

Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him
shall not be confounded." [From Isa 28:16]

The NT text that today’s church rests on concerning the Trinity, is this next verse, of
which there is more than ample evidence that this verse was an additional implant
and not found in the original text. Just do a web search on Matt 28:19 for
conformation to this claim.

Matthew 28:18 - 19 (KJV) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All
power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. 19Go ye therefore, and teach all
nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy
Ghost: [The original text was probably “baptizing them in my name”.]
Monarchianism was a Christian heretical doctrine of the 2nd and 3rd centuries
opposing the "orthodox" views over the nature of Christ; it strongly maintained the
essential unity of the Deity and was intended to reinforce monotheism in
Christianity. In my personal opinion, I can see nothing wrong in that aspect of their
intent, but they simply lost their argument. But this is only one of many viewpoints
that sprung up due to the waning of the Holy Spirit within the early Christian
Church.

In conclusion:
Jn 20:16 [After his resurrection] "Jesus saith unto her, Mary. She turned herself,
and saith unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master. Jesus saith unto her, touch
me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say
unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and
your God". [And the scripture cannot be broken! This must have been most
important if Jesus wanted Mary to tell this to the brethren. But this verse
points out quite clearly that Jesus has a God.]
Probably the most important key for the understanding of True Christianity,
is to know Jesus as the "Son of God" with the emphasis on the "son". For it
is by way of the Son that we can know the Father. Jesus says:
John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
[If Jesus were God, these words would not have been necessary.]
Another small note: Jesus/The Lamb, is always seen at the right (?hand?) of
God and if Jesus were God, how could he be beside (at the right side of)
himself?
My recommendation is: Receive the man Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
and listen to his words that you may know God the Father whose name we
translate roughly as Jehovah or Yahweh. May God bless you.
simply "Christian"
