Welcome to the 18th issue of Devil Comics Magazine where we will be exploring the creative changes of DC Comics, Forever Evil, the top December Solicitations, comic and film highlights. Injustice Tom Taylor recently finished Injustice: Gods Among Us digital series which broke the Worlds Finest relationship. Next year Injustice continues with another series in the same universe. Taylor is taking over James Robinson in Earth 2. In Novembers Injustice Annual brings Lobo who is going up against Harley Quinn. October Highlights DC Comics brings Lights Out to the Green Lantern franchise as our heroes goes up against Relic. HEL laid waste last month within his villain issue by killing Jor-EL now this month begins Krypton Returns. Meanwhile Marvel is bringing a close to Infinity while Galactus wreaks havoc on the Ultimate Universe. IDW Publishing brings Joe Hills Locke & Key towards a nature conclusion as the origins of Khan are explored in Star Trek. Valiant Entertainment showcases the Sect Civil War in Archer & Armstrong while X-O Manowar prepares for Unity in November. New York Comic Con Marvel has been promoting the upcoming panels using one words including Trial, Judgment, Mindbubble, Rad, Corporate, Global, and The End. The series will most likely set up for next years Spider-Man 2 and X-Men: Days of Future Past films. The road to 2014 will be set during the New York Comic Con in the coming week. Shamim Zia Editor

INHUMANITY After Infinity and the release of the Terrigen Mists, Inhumanity begins to showcase the next era of the Marvel Universe. The first era began with the introduction of the Mutants and now we have Inhumans on Earth. The diversity is inline with the current society. Usually after a major event, Marvel creates a aftermath line to bring cohesiveness similar to after the events of Siege and the Heroic Age that followed. In December J. Michael Straczynski brings the Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle #1. It is meant to incorporate all the stories within the franchise to create a cohesive and enjoyable epic for fans. The Star Wars franchise continues with Brian Wood ending his second arc of the ongoing Star Wars series taking place after A New Hope. George Lucas original screenplay hits the halfway point in The Star Wars #4. Following Darth Vader and the Ninth Assassin, writer Tim Siedell brings his second story titled Darth Vader and the Cry of Shadows. Darth Vader is definitely the Indiana Jones of the Star Wars franchise. Finally Fred Van Lente (Archer & Armstrong) brings the zero issue of Brain Boy.

G.I. JOE The origin of Roadblock is told in G.I. Joe #11. G.I. Joe targets Destro in Special Missions #10. The final issue of G.I. Joe: The Cobra Files #9 is released. Larry Hama presents G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero #197 with 2 more issues till #200. DOCTOR WHO IDWs Doctor Who series comes to an end during the final week of 2013. to celebrate the end we have the collected edition of Doctor Who: Prisoners of Time and a 2013 Doctor Who Special.

STAR TREK The origin of a classic villain continues to be told in Star Trek: Khan #3. The Klingon-Romulan War reaches a climactic chapter in Star Trek #28. The classic tale by Peter David Who Killed Captain Kirk? is collected.

TRANSFORMERS Transformers continues the Dark Cybertron event as secrets of the Dead Universe are revealed in More Than Meets the Eye #24 and Robots in Disguise #24. The march to Transformers #100 continues in Transformers Regeneration One #97.

X-FILES The first story arc of X-Files Season 10 is collected as the main series concludes the Flukeman arc in The X-Files: Season 10 #7. The first X-Files issue is released showcasing The Walking Dead artist Charles Adlards early work.

DC Comics The New 52 Villains Omnibus HC Following the much anticipated Trinity War, the Earth-3 Crime Syndicate invades Earth and Forever Evil begins. The books are broken up into their major franchises including Justice League, Aquaman, Earth-2, The Flash, Green Arrow, Wonder Woman, Action Comics, Superman, Batman, Green Lantern, Swamp Thing, and Teen Titans. RECOMMENDED 4 OUT OF 5 Action Comics #23.1 Brainiac constructs the ultimate Kryptonian in the form of Cyborg-Superman. The identity of the Cyborg-Superman is Supergirls father Zor-El. Action Comics #23.2 Dru-Zod was left for dead until he was found by Jor-El and Zor-El. Later Zod constructed a false war that led to the death of tens of thousands of Kryptonians. He is sentenced to the Phantom Zone awaiting the day when he will face Superman. It is revealed Zod sacrificed his father so he can get away from the monsters. Action Comics #23.3 Lex Luthor leaves prison and prepares for a meeting with Thomas Kord. Action Comics #23.4 Metallo takes on General Sam Lane and his Metal 2.0 before joining the Secret Society. Superman #23.1 features Lex Luthor constructing a Bizarro creature in development. The issue lacks the first appearance of the New 52 Bizarro which will be saved for Forever Evil. Superman #23.2 Vril Dox attempted to experiment on his son however was sentenced to exile. He decided to experiment on himself and become Brainiac. Superman #23.3 HEL stands for House of El. In the new timeline both Zod and Jor-El are killed by HEL and the events of Krypton Returns unfolds. Superman #23.4 The origin of the Parasite is told. Batman/Superman #3.1 General Zod from the Phantom Zone speaks to Kara El about Doomsday. However the story is still unclear.

BATMAN TITLES Batman #23.1 the Jokers face was bleached by his mother. He raises a baby ape giving him the childhood he should have had with his Aunt Eunice. The ape grows up to be Jackanapes however the relationship is short-lived as he falls to his death. Batman #23.2 Riddler works his way through Wayne Enterprises and takes revenge on one of the guards who used to work at Arkham Asylum. Batman #23.3 The Penguin becomes more ruthless before becoming the mayor of Gotham. He also killed all the bullies when he was younger and his best friend who betrayed him when he was older. Batman #23.4 The origin of Bane is told as Forever Evil: Arkham War #1 begins. Detective Comics #23.1 the father of Poison Ivy killed her mother. Ivy later kills her father and works at Wayne Enterprises. In the present she turns Gotham into a real concrete jungle. Detective Comics #23.2 The New 52 origin of Harley Quinn is told before joining the Suicide Squad. Detective Comics #23.3 The Scarecrow plans to take on Bane and rule Gotham leading within Forever Evil: Arkham War. Detective Comics #23.4 Man-Bat becomes a temporary hero in Gotham during Forever Evil.

Batman and Robin #23.1 Two-Face shows that Gotham needs a Public Defender and decides whether to save and bleed Gotham. Batman and Robin #23.2 The Court of Owls plans of releasing the First Talon as chaos erupts following Forever Evil. Batman and Robin #23.3 Ras Al Ghul denies the Secret Society and is ready to take them on. Batman and Robin #23.4 Killer Croc builds his army under Gotham City. Batman: The Dark Knight #23.1 the Ventriloquist was a twin and her dummy is her brother. Batman: The Dark Knight #23.2 Mr. Freeze constructs his own family of ice as his origin is retold. Batman: The Dark Knight #23.3 Clayface discovers he is not wanted by the Secret Society. Batman: The Dark Knight #23.4 The Jokers Daughter scars peoples faces like she scarred her own.

AQUAMAN TITLES Aquaman #23.1 Black Manta escapes from prison and discovers Aquaman was killed by the Crime Syndicate. Ultraman moves the moon to create a solar eclipse to block the sun. The resulting tide destroyed the grave of Black Mantas father. Now he vows to go to war with the Crime Syndicate. Aquaman #23.2 Ocean Master is freed and saves a family. The Flash #23.3 Captain Cold is back in charge of the Rogues as his sister lays in a coma prior to the events of Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion #1. THE FLASH TITLES The Flash #23.1 Grodd is freed from the Speed Force and Keystone City becomes Grodd City. The Flash #23.2 Reverse-Flash is revealed to be Daniel West the brother of Iris West wanted to go back in time to murder his own father.

GREEN LANTERN TITLES Green Lantern #23.1 Relic is an anomaly from the old universe which existed of Lightsmiths who exhausted their reservoir and extinguished from existence. Relic is the survivor from the previous universe. The Lightsmiths extinguished life from the previous universe and now the Lanterns are doing the same. Its up to Relic to stop them. Green Lantern #23.2 Mongul is Marvels Thanos however he is more calculating and destructive. The issue is drawn by future Justice League 3000 artist Howard Porter. Now Mongul heads towards the Green Lantern Corps. Green Lantern #23.3 Black Hand raises the father of Hal Jordan. Green Lantern #23.4 The story of Sinestro is told from beginning to end. JUSTICE LEAGUE TITLES Justice League #23.1 Darkseid was once Uxas who murdered the Old Gods so the New Gods rose. Darkseid has a collection of dead Supermen from the worlds he invaded. Justice League #23.2 The new Lobo is sleeker and faster and is planning on hunting his imposter on Earth. Justice League #23.3 The bad heroes of Dial H is here. Justice League #23.4 On Earth-3 Dick Grayson was a Talon however died at the hands of the Joker. The Joker managed to spray Alfred and turned him into the Outsider. The Outsider arrived on this Earth and built the Secret Society to ready the Crime Syndicates arrival.

Justice League of America #7.1 writer Matt Kindt takes on Deadshot and gives us an origin that leads us into the Suicide Squad tie-ins by the same writer. Justice League of America #7.2 Dr. Caitlin Snow is Killer Frost who was betrayed by her colleagues who worked for the H.I.V.E. Later Killer Frost discovers the power of Firestorm can make her change back to Dr. Snow. Justice League of America #7.3 The original of the Shadow Thief is revealed. Justice League of America #7.4 Black Adam returns and plans to take on the Crime Syndicate. Justice League Dark #23.1 The Creeper is trapped in the Soultaker sword in the 16th Century Japan. After it escaped it now lives with TV reporter Jack Ryder. Justice League Dark #23.2 Eclipso is attached to another human.

EARTH 2 TITLES Earth 2 #15.1 Desaad awaits for the arrival of Darkseid. Earth 2 #15.2 Little is told about the origins of Solomon Grundy as it is a weak issue by superstar Matt Kindt. This issue written by him is open-ended like his Valiants Bloodshot issue. GREEN ARROW TITLES Green Arrow #23.1 the origin of Count Vertigo is told as he rises to power and kills his own mother. SWAMP THING TITLES Swamp Thing #23.1 Anton Arcane fights his niece Abigail about what happened to her mother.

TEEN TITANS TITLES Teen Titans #23.1 The origin of Trigon is revealed as he absorbs the heart of darkness. Instead of eradicating evil the divine mistakenly created Trigon. He becomes the father of Raven of the Teen Titans who must stop him. Teen Titans #23.2 Deathstroke takes on Deathblow. WONDER WOMAN TITLES Wonder Woman #23.1 The origin of Cheetah is told as she joins the Secret Society. Wonder Woman #23.2 The origin of the First Born of Zeus is told.

SUICIDE SQUAD VOLUME 4: DISCIPLINE AND PUNISH TRADE PAPERBACK Ales Kot (Zero) brings James Gordon Jr. into the Suicide Squad. Harley Quinn stabs the Unknown Soldier and takes out Amanda Waller. Harley Quinn negotiates a new deal for herself and the Suicide Squad. She wanted the removal of the neck bombs and freedom within a year by becoming informants. Seventeen days later the Suicide Squad is in Las Vegas to stop a group of anarchists who have wired billboards into hypnotic suggestions causing them to be violent. The anarchist unleashes a monster made up dead corpses. It is revealed former Team 7 member John Lynch is behind it all. The team is sent to retrieve John Lynch and assassinate a dictator. Deadshot takes a shot a John Lynch which sends his team into action. However the Suicide Squad disables his team. Waller sends drones to kill Lynch and the Suicide Squad returns home. Detective Comics #23.2 The New 52 origin of Harley Quinn is told before joining the Suicide Squad. Justice League of America #7.1 writer Matt Kindt takes on Deadshot and gives us an origin that leads us into the Suicide Squad tieins by the same writer. INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US VOLUME 1 TRADE PAPERBACK Writer Tom Taylor who is currently taking over Earth 2 from the departed James Robinson brings his A-Game to the video game based series. The Joker arrives in Metropolis and kills Jimmy Olsen and kidnaps Lois Lane. As Superman tracks her with the help of the Justice League, the Scarecrow is killed by the Joker and Superman confronts Doomsday. However Superman was exposed to the fear toxin and he accidently sent a pregnant Lois into space. The Joker also destroys Metropolis so Superman returns to Earth and kills the Joker and decides to bring justice and peace to the world. The Kents are kidnapped by Mirror Master by the order of the President. However the Kents are returned and Supermans supporters grow. Meanwhile Aquaman declares war on the world and Superman responds by putting Atlantis in the middle of a desert. Damian accidently kills Dick Grayson during a prison riot. Selina Kyle helps confront Bruce on the loss of his partner. Now Batman assembles his own army to combat Superman. This trade paperback collects Injustice: Gods Among Us #1-6 RECOMMENDED 4 OUT OF 5

INJUSTICE: GODS AMONG US TRADE VOLUME 2 PAPERBACK Superman discovers Lex Luthor is alive in Metropolis after the bomb that was detonated by the Joker. Now Lex Luthor joins Superman and the Justice League. Hawkgirl is kidnapped by Batman and is replaced by Martian Manhunter within the Justice League. Meanwhile Darkseid orders his son Kalibak to kill Superman and take the Earth. Apokolips attacks the Earth however Superman stops them all and saves the planet. The Kents wants Lex Luthor to stop Superman with the use of the super pills . Batman shuts down the Watchtower and his son Damian betrays him by revealing his identity to the world. Superman kills Martian Manhunter while he was inhibiting Wonder Womans mind. Batman and his team head to Supermans Fortress to find the super pills needed to stop him however find the Kents. Before he could leave an angry Superman arrives kills Green Arrow who manages to send Batman one of the pills. Superman heads to the Batcave to stop Batman by breaking his back. The formula fro the super pills is uploaded to an unknown location so it can be replicated. The last super pill is taken by Alfred who stomps Superman. Batman is labeled as a terrorist and year one of Injustice ends. This trade paperback collects Injustice: Gods Among Us #7-12 RECOMMENDED 4 OUT OF 5

The Walking Dead Volume 19: March To War TPB Rick unites the Kingdom under Ezekiel and the Hilltop against the Saviors. Jesus plans on building an army to train and Negan arrives and kills Spencer for trying to take over for Rick. Negan awaits for Rick who is furious that he killed Spencer. Rick decides to use Andrea to sniper shot Negan. It goes horribly wrong as Negans Savior were watching to save him. Now Negan plans to kill Rick and his followers for trying to kill him. Jesus and Ezekiel come to Ricks rescue and prepares for war with Negan and the Saviors. This trade paperback collects The Walking Dead #109-114 RECOMMENDED 4 OUT OF 5

Archer & Armstrong Volume 3: Far Faraway TPB Archer and Armstrong head to Area 51 to find out more about Project Rising Spirit. Meanwhile Mary-Maria arrives at Area 51 and all of them are transported to the Faraway where the Boon was first discovered. Archer is captured by a flying saucer as Armstrong and Mary-Maria are taken by the natives. Archer is told by a 1955 Army General Alphonse Redacted that the Faraway is a place where humans will evolve into. Archer escapes Alphonse and meets Ambrose Bierce where he takes him to the collective of Sages. The Sages remove their robes and they are dressed just like Archer. General Redacted plans are killing the New Roanoke and return home to save it. However Armstrong and Mary-Maria plans to stop Redacted while Archer unknowningly releases Iva the Timewalker from his prison. After defeating the aliens, Archer finds Armstrong and MariaMaria sleeping together. Archer manages to defeat General Redacted and punches Armstrong for betraying him with MariaMaria. Archer steals Ivars Timearc charts and disappears when the portal arrives. The next arc begins the Sect Civil War. Archer & Armstrong #0 The Boon is discovered and the injuries of the Eternal Warrior are sustained. The event precedes the first issue of the series. Now the final season begins as Walters cancer returns and both Hank and Walter come to blows.
