Our Vision: The Rajdhani Institute of Vedic Astrology (RIVA), Delhi impart sacred knowledge of Vedas and educate with high professional knowledge of Vedic sciences to our students through our dedicated faculty, who meet global standards, making our students technically superior in the field of Astrology and guiding its students to improve their talents. RIVAs purpose is to provide the highest quality of education and training in Vedic Astrology to students and professional astrologers worldwide. RIVA has a mission to encourage the interest of common man in the wonderful world of Astrology and allied sciences. RIVA may not be the first in this field but it is definitely unique in its approach, concept, content, delivery and presentation to fulfill the basic human psychology to know more and more about its future in a dedicated and descriptive manner. About the Institute: RIVA is located in the heart Delhi (Capital of India), within easy reach of everyone. RIVA presents the professional Courses of Astrology and allied sciences under the direction of famous Panchangkartas and best Astrologers of Shri Rajdhani Panchang Karyalaya. RIVA conducts these courses in order to encourage the study and research in Vedic Astrology and allied sciences, and outstanding successful researches are published through our publications.

Courses: RIVA conducts the courses of Astrology & allied science under Jyotish Kala, Jyotish Praveen and Jyotish Acharya etc. (you can search/download the full detail of the courses conducted by us from our web site www.rajdhanipanchang.com) Duration of Course: Duration of the selected course is described with the course detail. In the regular course, there shall be six lectures in a week, three on Saturday and three on Sunday. Timing of the Classes (For all courses) Ist Batch: 2.00 P.M. to 4.00 P.M. 2nd Batch: 4.00 P.M. to 6.00 P.M. (timings subject to change according to weather and other conditions. RIVA reserves right to alter the timing according to needs.) Eligibility for Admission: Eligibility for admission of the selected course is described with the course detail. Applicant can note/download the contents of the eligibility for admission from our web site. Admission Procedure: Applicant can apply through on-line process on www.rajdhanipanchang.com or application duly filled on the prescribed form (download application from our web site) must reach in the office on or before the prescribed date along with: 1. 2. One photocopy of the highest Certificate/Degree acquired. One clear photocopy of documents acceptable as Address proof as well as Identity proof. (Please provide the address proof of correspondence address only. All communication would be addressed to Correspondence address only). A photo copy of Matriculation or Higher Secondary Certificate showing the Date of Birth. Two copies of recent passport size photograph of candidate.

The applicant of regular courses would be required to appear for an Interview before admission. The admission would be given on the basis of general intelligence, interest in the subject and the conditions prescribed there in. The List of selected candidates for admission to the courses will be displayed on the notice board of Institute and information of admission will also be sent by e-mail or phone, if provided by the candidate. Fee Structure: Fee Structure for the selected course is mentioned with the description of the Course detail. Applicant will note/download the contents of Fee Structure from our web site. For the regular students, the above mentioned Fees does not include cost of study material/Books, which may be given to the students on actual cost-basis. For the correspondence student, the study material/Books will be sent free of cost.

Attendance: A minimum of 75% attendance at lectures in all regular courses is required on the whole besides completing homework except the special case. No attendance required for the candidate of correspondence courses to appear in the examinations. Medium of Instructions: Medium of instruction shall be English and Hindi, both, and the student can answer the questions in either language. A partial use of Hindi in the English medium classes and English in the Hindi medium classes is permissible for the purpose of better clarification and understanding wherever deemed necessary by a teacher. Examination and Passing Standards: Towards the end of the course, the examination will be held by the Institute , which is compulsory to be qualified by each candidate. A student will get one chance to qualify the examination. A candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% in each paper in order to be declared passed in the final examination. A successful candidate scoring 50% and above in aggregate but less than 60% will be placed in the second Class. A successful candidate scoring 60% and above in aggregate will be placed in the First Class. Awards/Prizes Medals and Certificate of Merit are awarded to the First three meritorious students of the year who stand First, Second and Third respectively in the year. Syllabus & Books: Syllabus and Prescribed Books for the selected course are mentioned with the description of the Course detail. Applicant can note/download the contents of the syllabus and prescribed list of books from our web site. In the correspondence course, the study material will be provided to the candidate for self-study. During the contact program, the learner will have the opportunity to get intensive face-to-face interaction to develop understanding of the subject with the help of experienced faculty. Discipline: All the students registered with the Rajdhani Institute of Astrology will be subject to the general disciplinary control of Principal and the rules framed by Institute. Students are desired to adhere the protocol for airing any grievance against class teacher, Principal, or any official of Institute. Failure to adherence of disciplinary protocol, student are liable for strict disciplinary action. The Institute has the power to strike off the name of student who is grossly irregular or he/she is guilty of misbehavior or misconduct. In this regard, the decision of the Institute will be final and binding. Important Note: The information given in this booklet about the course, Fees, Rules and Programs is subject to change at any time. Decision of the Institute in this respect will be final and binding.

TERMS AND CONDITION: 1. Acceptance of the admission form is at sole discretion of RIVA. If application is rejected, then full fees will be refunded. 2. Fees once paid shall not be refunded under any other circumstances. 3. Change of address should be informed immediately to RIVA as this is the responsibility of the student. Student not getting study material on time should inform immediately to RIVA. 4. Institute has made every effort to ensure that the contents of study material are correct. However, RIVA accepts no responsibility for any errors, omissions or damage caused as an effect there of. 5. Change of medium is possible by paying Rs.1000/- immediately after receiving first module and study material. Medium cannot be changed after dispatch of second module, if any. 6. Partially filled form and forms without prescribed fees will be rejected. 7. Since all the courses are updated on regular basis, therefore syllabus of course is subject to change without any prior notice. 8. Students who do not pay their fees, will not be sent study material until dues are cleared. They shall not be allowed to appear in examination. Students will have to pay late fees of Rs. 500 if they send their installment after due date. 9. Disputes, if any, subject to competent forums and courts of Delhi jurisdiction only.
