Strategic Human Capital Portfolio at Rietvlei. PROJECT COORDINATOR (HAY-BAND L) OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY The position is responsible for coordinating activities within the ODD department and resources in support of both operational and strategic initiatives and projects that impact multiple departments, systems, or work-flows with moderate to high risk and complexity or multiple projects simultaneously with lesser risk and complexity. PRIMARY DUTIES Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative tasks and all sites involved in the project Maintain Project Managers calendars and milestones Track and update Project Plans Develop a project infrastructure from project set up to project closure to support seamless delivery Coordinate Workshops, Meetings and Events around the project Ensure smooth interfaces across the business Understanding of Business Stakeholders Mapping of Stakeholders and Analysis Customer interfacing Consolidating input from business stakeholders Participate in project meetings and workshops Generate action plans and decision register Facilitate Risk Register and follow up Coordinate meetings, including travel arrangements and expense reports Manage Budget for the Project (Variance Reporting) Knowledge management repository Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables

JOB REQUIREMENTS Matric Junior degree or diploma in social or business management Certificate in Project Management Graduate work or Masters Degree in related field desirable

KNOWLEDGE Business Knowledge (business value chain concept and methodology ) Project Management Approaches and Methodologies Systems and Procedures Change Management Methodologies OD principles Reengineering and business process mapping Work study principles Financial Acumen Budget Processes Administration Analytical methods, procedures, and practices, to include research software Information gathering techniques, procedures, and practices Project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques Procedures/measures for the securing of personal data

COMPETENCY PROFILE SKILLS Strong Communication skills (both verbal and written) Coordination Planning Facilitation Report Writing Research capability (both desk top and physical) Analytical Computer Literate Numerical Microsoft Project or any compatible application
