Clarify the hair with Keratin Complex Pre-Treatment Shampoo. Shampoo all hair types twice to remove buildup and prepare the cuticle for Advanced Glycolic Smoothing Treatment. Do not condition.

Gloves should be worn during application. 1. Shake bottle well. Pour 1 2 . oz. / 30 60 mL of treatment into a bowl. 2. Towel-dry the hair well, leaving enough moisture in the hair for optimal distribution of AGST. Gently detangle the hair if necessary. Divide and clip hair into 3 sections. 3. Starting at the nape of the neck, part the hair into 1-inch / 25-mm sub-section partings. Using an application brush, apply treatment starting inch / 6 mm away from the scalp through to the ends. Comb away from the face using a ne-tooth comb to ensure even distribution. 4. When treatment is completely applied, do not clip or cap hair. Allow treatment to absorb for 30 minutes. Do not apply heat. 5. Rinse all hair types for 5 seconds to ensure product has been removed from the hair and scalp. Do not shampoo or condition. NOTE: Suds may appear during rinsing; this is normal.

Divide and clip the hair into 3 sections before at ironing. Part hair into -inch / 12-mm sub-section partings at the nape of the neck. Begin at ironing, keeping the iron in constant motion. Pass the iron from root to end 3 6 times, using a ne-tooth comb for light tension. IMPORTANT: Always use your professional judgment when selecting an iron temperature, keeping in mind that the temperature should not exceed 420F (215C). At extremely high temperatures, a at iron can be damaging to the hair. Follow the steps above and refer to the guide on page 8 to determine the temperature ranges and number of passes. Keep the at iron in continuous motion to avoid heat damage or kinks in the hair. If the ends of the hair are severely damaged or split, use fewer passes to prevent further damage. Always have a heat-resistant comb in front of the iron to provide tension.

Gently towel-dry the hair. Apply approximately 1 . oz. / 15 30 mL Keratin Complex Silk Seal 3-in-1 Finishing Masque, concentrating application on the mid-lengths to ends. Massage for 5 minutes. Note that suds may appear; this is normal. Rinse the hair for 10 seconds. Do not shampoo. Towel-dry. Divide and clip the hair into 3 sections. Blow-dry the hair on a medium heat setting, one section at a time, using ngers to move the hair until 80% dry. Finish with Keratin Complex vent and/or ceramic round brushes. Begin at the nape of the neck and work forward, always using a concentrator nozzle and blow-drying down and away from the face, until hair is 100% dry. Hair must be 100% dry before at ironing.

IRON TEMPERATURE GUIDE FOR HIGHLY PROCESSED/CHEMICALLY DAMAGED HAIR

When at ironing highly processed, chemically damaged hair, begin with the lowest iron temperature; go up to 380F (193C) if needed. Do not exceed 380F (193C). Pass over each section 4 6 times from root to mid-length, with only 1 3 passes over the ends. Always use your professional judgment, keeping hair type and chemical history in mind when selecting temperature and passes.
