BASIC DETAILS

Aim for the Stars! The victor is always justified.

Four candidates will be grouped together and

will take part in a group discussion based on a
given short text. These texts may include
advertisements, book synopses, film reviews, letters,
short news reports and so on. Candidates may be
required to make suggestions, give advice, make and
explain a choice, argue for and/or against a position, or
discuss the pros and cons of a proposal. Candidates will be
given ten minutes for preparation and will be allowed to make
notes. During the discussion they may refer to their notes.

You are given 10 minutes for preparation.

You are given a Question Paper and notecard.

Remember not to write anything on the Question Paper ; or else, you will receive a mark

penalty. Therefore, write everything on your notecard

In the Question Paper, you are given a group discussion topic, including reading material and
the details of what you are going to talk about.

Giving up and going aboard is always a good idea. If a student was forced
to study in the new curriculum, he or she will not be happy and then they
will be desperate. They may even develop depression and then die. Also,
this hinder their own personal development. They have no way for
creativity. They have no way for fee time. They have no way for social
activities. How can the students be happy with tonnes of classworks and
homeworks... (after 2 minutes) ... You know, this is a very disastrous future
when all candidates die because of high pressure...

Payment is another problem in online shopping. They need to pay for the transportation, which
is very expensive. My Form 1 English teacher Mr. Emmett Poon usually bought useful
English resources from other western countries, but turned out with large amount of
transportation fee. This increases the burden of the buyers.

This skill is ONLY for students who get relatively low marks.
Put yourself in the group of disadvantaged.
To be frank, I am not a brilliant examfighters. I experienced setbacks all the time when
having tests or examinations. Just between you and me, I even attended detention every
day after school in Form 3. But this means I must work hard! Just say to yourself Never
give up!, and you can recharge energy!
