Role Overview Electronic Arts is in the early stages of a transformation from a packaged software provider to an all-digital company. The EA Digital Platform team is in the forefront of this transformation. The Digital Platform System Test Group is responsible for ensuring and measuring Scalability, Stress, Security, Supportability, Performance and Reliability (E2E QuadSPR) of all games published by EA - including PC, mobile, social media, handheld and high definition console platforms. As a member of E2E QuadSPR team, you will participate in developing and sustaining leading edge software tools and frameworks used throughout EA and providing test automation services which directly contribute to the quality of EA games. Know More : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NVP-4pxm0lc&feature=youtu.be Responsibilities: Supports highly complex projects and provides input and guidance to all stakeholders Collaborates with cross-functional teams to track and resolve dependencies Ability to make sound System Quality related analyses and decisions independently for the team to support a Final GO / No-GO risk assessment Gather requirements and writes technical design specifications Implements automated tests using Java / C++ for non-functional test scenarios (Load Performance, Availability, Resilience, etc.) Designing, developing, and executing automation scripts to reduce repeatable manual cycles Develop and run scalability, reliability and performance tests on Windows/UNIX platforms Manages daily reviews and analysis of automated tests results and reporting Qualifications: MCA, B.Tech & M.Tech students from Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE) from the batch of 2014 (Open to all students from the above streams irrespective of their backlogs, CGPA or academic percentages) Exceptional analytical and problem solving acumen Good technical understanding of: OOPS, MVC pattern, Internet, HTTP, SSL, Web-servers (Apache, IIS), setup & configuration of websites on various web-servers is preferred Knowledge of memory management, multiple processor use, and runtime optimization
