Deuteronomy VI 4-10 Here O Israel, the Lord our God, The Lord is one. [Blessed be the name of the glory of his kingdom for ever and ever.] And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words which I command thee this day, shall be in thy heart. And thou shall teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt speak of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way; when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thy hand, and they shall be frontlets between thy eyes. And thy gates. Deuteronomy XI 13-22 And it shall come to pass, that if ye will harken diligently unto my commandments, which I command you this day, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all of your heart and with all of your soul; then will I send the rain for your land in its due season, the first rain and the latter rain that thou mayest gather in thy corn, thy wine, and thy oil. And I will give grass in thy field for thy cattle, and thou shalt eat and be satisfied. Take heed of yourselves, lest your heart be deceived, and ye turn aside and serve other gods, and worship them. For then the Lords wrath will be kindled against you, and he will shut up the heavens, that there be no rain, and the land will not yield her fruit, and ye shall perish quickly from the goodly land which the Lord giveth you. Therefore, shell ye lay up my words in your heart, and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And ye shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when thou sittest in thy house, and when thou walkest by the way, when thou layest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shall write them upon the door-posts of thy house, and upon thy gates. That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord sowre unto yourfathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon the earth.

Numbers XV 37- end And the Lord spoke onto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, bid them to make themselves fringes in the borders of their garments, throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringes of the borders a thread of blue. And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that ye may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the Lord and do them; and ye seek not after the inclinations of your heart, and the delight of your eyes, in pursuit of which ye have been led astray. That ye may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God. I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God; I am the Lord your God. True and certain; firm and stable; right and faithful; lovely and dear; desirable and pleasant; reverent and excellent; regular and acceptable; good and beautiful, is this word unto us for ever and ever. It is true, that the everlasting God is our King; the Rock of Jacob, and Shield of our salvation. He endureth from generation to generation; his name also abideth; his throne is established, and his kingdom and truth endure for ever. His words also are living, stable, faithful, and desirable for ever, even unto all ages: as well those which he hath spoken concerning our fathers, as those concerning us, our children, our generations, and the generations of the seed of Israel, thy servants, both the first and the last. It is all good and sure word, spoken in truth and faithfulness, and is a statute that shall not pass away. It is true, that thou art the Lord our God! and the God of our fathers; our King! And the King of our father; our Redeemer! and the Redeemer of our fathers; our Rock! and the Rock of our salvation. Our Redeemer and Deliverer! this is thy name from everlasting; neither have we any other god beside thee. Selah.
