INSTALLATION IS QUICK & EASY

ATTACHING THE ROOF HOOKS TO THE RAFTERS:
1. Remove or slide up the roof tile. 2. Position the Roof Hook above the roof rafter or purlin (for high roof battens lay a thin wooden board underneath if necessary). 3. Rook Hook should be positioned in the middle of the valley of the underlying interlocking tile (if necessary, use Side Mount Roof Hooks). 4. Pre-drill the screw holes (1/4 for 5/16 lag screws). Never drill the holes vertically above each other, rather offset each hole to avoid splitting the wood grain. 5. Screw in the 1/4 x 3-1/2 screws (with 7/8 washers) at least 3 deep (if spacer boards have been used, then choose screws that are appropriately longer). 6. Slide down or re-insert the tile.
It is the installers responsibility to ensure that the screws selected are appropriate for the given loads and installation.

FASTENING CREOTECC BASE RAIL TO SIDE MOUNT ROOF HOOKS:

1. Slide in the Slot Nut and position it to the mounting hole on the Roof Hook. 2. Position the Base Rail onto the side of the Roof Hook. 3. Insert the 3/8-16 x 3/4 Hex Bolt with washer and tighten to 20ft/lbs. If the rafters sag, be sure to mount the Base Rail near the bottom of the slot at the top and bottom roof hooks. 4. Greater adjustability in Base Rail location can be achieved by using a Top Mount Roof Hook with a Creotecc L-Foot.
