    Dr. Jacobson is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Iowa State University and
    the Director of the Iowa State University Information Assurance Center. He also has an
    appointment with the Iowa Statement University police department, where he aids in computer
    forensics. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering and is a Certified Forensics Computer
    Examiner. He has testified before the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee on the uses of peer-to-
    peer protocols and testified at the trial in the case of Virgin Records v. Jammie Thomas-Rasset,
    Case No. 06-cv-1497 (D. Minn. 2007).
