One of the things that many believers are underprivileged in is sound teaching of God's Word. It was instructed by Paul to Timothy to preach the

word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all long-suffering and teaching." ~ 2Timothy 4:2 Personal Revelation- The Word of God is living, powerful, and personal. It is one thing to hear others attest to the tangible reality of God's Word, but it is transformative to attest see how God's Word effects your life. Colossians 1:28- "Him (Christ) we preach warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus." Practical Application- One of the modern day plagues that we face is hypocrisy. While learning information is fantastic, we believe that is just the beginning of a true relationship with Christ. The next component of growing in a community that reflects Christ is APPLICATION of the Information. James 1:22 says "be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." o What we do for them? 3C's: We empower each believer to know that they are Called by God, to be Connected to people (Community), and Committed to the work of God being carried out in our lives and community. Transparent Humble- Edifying

 Our Brief History o In January 2005, young men unintentionally started a campus and young adult ministry under the name of Divine Unity Righteously Applying God (DuRaG) Ministries. This organic ministry molded the personality of the three young men, and gave way for cutting edge ministry to minister to the campuses of Bridgewater College, JMU, EMU, and Mary Baldwin College. As ministry progressed, God impressed upon the heart of Chris Johnson to start a church to provide a church home and place of worship for many of those that had not found a home here in Harrisonburg. God brought clarity and direction to this burden and vision as many of those that began in the early years of DuRaG felt a sense of calling not only to the campus but also the community. In obedience to the CALL, Chris along with others made the decision to settled down in Harrisonburg to serve as an intentional community of believers that would CONNECT with those that are here and those that will come. We now find ourselves as kingdom citizens abiding in Harrisonburg COMMITTED to see the power and presence of Christ bring salvation to the lost, healing to the broken hearted, comfort to those that are hurting, and an opportunity for all to maximize and utilize their potential for the glory of God in Christ Jesus.
