: By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to: 1. Circle the prepositions of place and direction in given text and get at least 7 prepositions of place and direction correctly. 2. Match the sentences from the text given to the pictures and match at least 6 sentences correctly with the pictures.
: bottle, box, video of the song. : Dialogues text, worksheet : Pupils may face difficulties in understanding and memorizing the prepositions of place and direction. Remarks / Teaching Aids Teaching aids: i. jumbled word cards (Teaching Aid A) Remarks Questions like, Have you heard of preposition? What do you think a preposition is?, are asked.

using realia of a box and bottle. Pupils are given dialogues and will read it. Pupils are given instruction to identify and circle the preposition words of place that can be found in the dialogue. Pupils identify and circle the preposition words that they find in the dialogue. Pupils and teacher will discuss the questions the exercise together. Pupils will mark () at the circle if they answer correctly and (x) if they answer wrongly and circle the correct answer.
Practise

sentences by using the prepositions that they have learned by looking at the pictures. Teacher discusses the answer with the pupils. Teacher calls one volunteer to read aloud the sentence for picture number one. Teacher provides correct answer immediately if the pupil gives the wrong answer. If the answer is correct, the teacher asks the pupils to tick () at the end of the sentences and (x) if they answer wrongly and write the correct sentences. Steps 12 until steps 15 are repeats until picture number 8. Once finished, teacher asks the pupils to paste the worksheet on their exercise book and submit their book to the teachers table.
