USN A GIFT S HO P E VE N TS
Local artist Joe Barsin of JEB Designs will host a signing at the USNA Gift Shop inside the ArmelLeftwich Visitors Center Oct. 26 from 9 a.m. to noon. The Gift Shop will also host a coffee tasting by Coffee Beanery from 8 to 11 a.m.
B L UE JAC KET C A FE
The Blue Jacket Caf is now an MWR Category C Operation and is required to operate without direct appropriated funding. Sailors assigned to commands within the Annapolis Complex are approved for Basic Allowance Subsistence pay in place of a meal chit. The BJC is only open Monday-Friday from 6:30am to 1:00pm, excluding Federal Holidays, and each item on the menu is priced separately. A daily lunch special will be available from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in addition to the a la carte items. The Coffee Cafe will operate with the same hours and offers subs, sandwiches, salads, gourmet coffee beverages and homemade pastries. For more information, call 410-293-9120.
