The city of Annapolis and the U.S. Naval Academy rang in the 238th birthday of the U.S. Navy with a breakfast at the historic Calvert House Oct. 7. Naval Academy Superintendent Vice Adm. Mike Miller joined Annapolis Mayor Josh Cohen, Anne Arundel County Executive Laura Newman, and other distinguished area leadership in celebrating the close relationship the Naval Academy and the Navy enjoy in the Annapolis area.
